Ya like kid said its a way for you to maximize your yield with the space you have....you make the plant grow outward filling in the screen, and by doing that the lower branches that would be smaller then the main top of your plant (the main cola) grow up and become main colas themselves....there...

Doesnt smell one bit....if you do it just make sure you have your box air tight.... Its just like an extension cord with one end that plugs into the wall and one end that has a white and a black wire coming out of it. They are next to the extension cords at the store...
