No, you would have to run them in parallel and that would be a bozo no no. ;-) Series means that you add the voltage for each led.

I would say about 2ft working depth at 1400ma.

Be very careful....that kind of voltage will kill you quick!

Nutes need to be in balance. Less is more..... It's a reset of feeding. I would feed with just water for a week or two.

Mine draw about 60 w each and about 2 w for each ps for fans, 8 fans per ps. (killowatt readings) 16 3070's = 960w (meanwell drivers at 1400ma) 2 fan psu's= 4w over a 6x6= 26.77 w sq ft.

Almost 28w a sq foot..........way cool

I think that I'll be running the 730's for 15 minutes at lights out. Though I'm running 16 3070's at 1400ma over a 6x6.

Running a perpetual will definitely get your growing skills in order fast. I've been doing that for about 4 or 5 years now. (ala Al B. Fuct) For a 5' long heat sink 4 3070s @1400ma or 6 at 1050ma with 2 fans for redundancy would be the ticket IMHO.

All my 3000k are ab and my 4000k are ad bins. Had to order 20 each and wait for a month. I suppose that you can't be in a hurry. (proper planning prevents piss poor performance) Just for giggles, I'm going to see if I can back order the highest bin in the data sheet....... I'm picky about...

IMHO, The cheapest led would be the CXA at >$100 per 60 watts more or less. (not counting labor) That would be 1.6 dollars a watt. A gavita would come in at 50 cents a watt, again more or less.(not counting bulb replacment) The difference is I can run my trays as 27 watts a sq foot vs 50 watts...

If you call Arrow you can get ab and ad bins in 3 and 4k.
