    Samsung F564B Linear Strip Build

Hello everyone! Today is a big day for me because today I'm joining officially the DIY LED community! My 32x F564B from Digikey just arrived! After months of research throught forums, videos, etc. I decided to go with the Linear Strips Build. The light uniformity, energy efficiency and build...

    Samsung F562B Linear Strip Build

Thanks! I already bought 18 AWG Solid copper wire :) One question, will I have to use wagos with 3 connectors in the yellow dot? (See attached image)

    Samsung F562B Linear Strip Build

I guess I could change the build to parallel and be like: I will be saving in energy consumption which is actually really good as prices on electricity are expensive around here. What do you guys think? Would this build work well in parallel?

    Thermal Switch

I'm now between these 3 thermal switches: https://www.digikey.pt/products/compare/en?RI=516_0_0_1000011_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_0_|ffe81912,b7c000a,ffe00204,2080009&allpart=on&part=317-1321-ND&part=317-1000-ND&part=317-1038-ND&allpart=on Price is the same but I can't see any difference between them.

    Samsung F562B Linear Strip Build

I see reports of people having voltage drop while connecting many strips (20+) in parallel and there's also the thermal runaway. Wouldn't this be also a concern while choosing a parallel circuit? @Randomblame

    Samsung F562B Linear Strip Build

You can easily avoid this by just unplugging the driver from the wall while fixing something in your build, dont you?

    Thermal Switch

Hello! I'm trying to implement a thermal switch for my strip build and so far I found these ones on digikey: ChilLED was also selling them on their website and they probably use them in their systems. Should I use one per strip? Or one per driver? How they should be wired? Which one should I...

Minimum Amp per Diode with LM561C

Depth. If I drive each diode below 100mA, won't it be too low to drive them? Leading to less light penetration but more uniformity due to the fact that I will have probably more diodes in the lightning system as I'm underdriving them. I see many users of LM561C running them at +100mA that's...

Minimum Amp per Diode with LM561C

Hello! What should be the minimum amp per diode in order to get a good canopy penetration using LM561C? Thanks in advance!

    The driver has a maximum output of 286V. http://www.meanwell.com/webapp/product/search.aspx?prod=hlg-185h-C And... Amps (0.7A) x Volts (23VDC) = 16.1W x 48 Strips = 772.8W
