I want to grow 3lb in 3 months

You mean 3 months of flower time after vegging to 4'8"? That means you can't do a vertical grow. You don't have the floor space for 3 pounds. Vertical grows add psuedo floor space. You're also confused about lighting. 1 600 watt light will give off light that penetrates deeper than two...

    PH Problem Need Help Fast

Add some dolomite or hydrated lime to your flush water and flush until the pH is ~6. Because this will likely wash out most of your soluble nutes, you should use your brita filtered water and make your normal feeding solution at pH 6.5 and afterwards pour through until some comes out of the...

    Advise on soil ph issue...

Lime is basic,.. takes the pH up. Dolomite is added to counter the acidity of the compost. Sometimes compost is more acidic than the stuff used in the recipe and you need more dolomite. Don't expect your watering solution to bring the pH up if the soil is buffered. Unless your'e adding a...

i know im probley going to be embarrsed after

I agree with Stoney,.. You're either way too much in love with this girl or a little OCD. Either one isn't good. You probably need some space from her anyway, just so you can stop with the attitude that she's "all" you got. A lot of women retain feelings for ex's. If they act on them, then...

    Seed companys photoshopping pics?

It's probably the website not the seed company. What kind of reputation does Worldwide-marijuana have?. The picture of barney's sweet tooth on Attitude is different.

HELP. Problem getting worse every day.

Too much nutes, and soil pH is too low. You say you're adjusting pH to 6.5 in your water, and it's coming out of the soil two points lower? At 4.5? Tap water is not pH buffered. That means you can have a gallon of it, add a drop of acid and the pH goes way down,.. versus staying...

    plants and ashes

Yeah,.. where are the ashes coming from? Do what teatree says. Hardwoods make alkaline ashes, I use it all the time in the garden in place of lime,.. but I have no idea about reefer. I've never burned more than a pinch or doobie at a time...

    need help guys important

Frequency really depends on the quality of the soil. I don't use nutes anymore, because I blend my own soil. It has everything the plant needs, and they grow crazy big. Checkout subcool's recipe. Once a week is good if youre using a good organic. You could bump that up to every other...

    plants and ashes

Ashes from a fireplace where hardwoods were burned has a high potash content. It's NPK is like 0,0,6,.. best for flowering. It's also high in pH (not acidic) and may have some small amounts of certain trace elements. If that's what your soil needs, go for it.

    need help guys important

If it's 9 days from breaking soil (not cracking seed) you could probably start with 1/4 strength nutes. Two weeks after my seeds crack is when I used to add some light stuff to the waterings. Unless you're using a really craptastic soil,.. I wouldn't think you'd see a nute deficiency. That...

    Drilling out 5 Gallon buckets

Don't drill one big hole. Drill at least a half dozen small ones, 3/8 inch. Just small enough so soil doesn't pour out. Drilling on the sides of the bucket at the base is good. The holes also allow air in, and if you're only drilling from underneath air can't get in,.. I drill a few on...

    Bonsai

Bonsai is normally used on slow growing plants. Weed is a weed and grows too quickly, so it would only look like that for a short window,.. good for some cool pictures,..

    Bonsai

It's probably a PS, but I think I could grow a plant that looked very similar, assuming I had the same pheno, or another pheno with similar qualities. I don't know how tall that one is supposed to be, but you could do one that would be about 20 to 25 inches. That bowl would be about 4 inches...

How do i replant in Fox Farm Ocean

Cut the roots. When you transplant make a few shallow cuts along the sides and bottoms. It's like topping the plant, except for your roots. The meristem will branch out behind the cuts and make your root-ball thicker. Professional nursery's do this, it's better in the long run.

First time soil grow, what soil??

Go to the organic section and the subcool sub forum. There's a 101 on soil there. If you're going to go through the trouble of adding that stuff, you ought to do it right.

Is carbon okay to breath in?

Carbon dust is bad to breath. Carbon filtered air is fine, and if anything good to breath cause it's free of most pollutants. Carbon can scrub some CO2 so blowing fresh carbon filtered air onto your plants isn't the best. You should reverse the direction you're blowing. You pull air out of...

85 degrees too hot?? + REP....

Excellent tips on cooling everyone,.. What I'd like to know, which wouldn't be entirely impossible for someone to answer if they have the space (two grow rooms/areas) is what sort of difference is there in yield, all other things being equal, between 90 degree high temps and 75 degrees. I...

85 degrees too hot?? + REP....

Why do people who grow indoors have to keep it below 85 degrees and people who grow outdoors have their plants see whatever it gets to outdoors,.. like 95 degrees?
