Setup the kool tube with the light on the exhaust side, install a 6" fan into the opposite side of the tube blowing towards the light, at the end of the exhaust have a fan blowing it outside the grow room. thats how i have mine setup as best i can, and the air i push threw the tube is -10C...

I dont know what your setup is like. BUT ill see what i can tell you.. If your area is big enough that you can install an air conditioner, thats a good way to for keeping temps right. If your stealth growing then just try and have the air in your area, being replenished more ofter, set up...

depends on how the light, tube, and air being pulled threw the tube are all set up. they work amazing if their set up right.

hey man, im using a 400w hps, in a 6" Kooltube. it does keep the tube cold and works well because: a) I pull cold ass winter air from outside, its -10 C average here. B) I have my light positioned on the exhaust side of the Kool tube, so any heat built up inside it is already at the exit of it...

try to keep your temp close to 75F, if that means moving your air intake to a warmer spot then thats a easy way to do it, my room gets real hot during the day so my intake comes from outside( its winter here) and it stays about 75. at night i have to bring my intake inside or it cools to about 58F.

that looks identical. mine had LEDs in it but i removed them, and i had to make it round to fit in the kooltube so i took side cutter pliar's and just snapped off all the plastic on the corners. I got mine for like 12 bucks at a computer store.

ya man its sillent i cant hear it when im sleeping. it pushes about 60-80 cfm, and the way i have the light set up, with it on my exhaust side of the kooltube, it should work pretty good combined with my winter air intake. :bigjoint:
