lol its cool bro.. no worries...
alright... so here is my review of autos...
i currently have 22+ autos about ready to harvest..... here are the goods and the bads i have come to find with them... take them how you want..
1) they seem to show a LOT of phenos.... i imagine its because...
1 more day until i start taking down the autos.. starting late tomorrow night and working through sunday... i bought a drying rack... http://somhydro.co.uk/product.asp?pid=881 its similar to the one in the link.. except there are only 6 layers on mine, and each layer is open, not closed off by...
a little early for the bday.. but thanks just the same! 26 this year.. starting to age.. pretty soon ill be old and shitting myself in a wheel chair.. lol
glad to hear everything is coming along well for you... for the most part at least... you'll get there... if you guys want help with...
there are a lot of things that can cause ph to flucuate... to many things to list... the best advice i can give you is this... mix your nute solution and ph it... allow it to mix with the air stone for about 5 or 6 hours... the ph it again.. this should work pretty well... the first adjustment...
i started in soil.. switched to hydro.. and will never go back to soil...
1) its much easier to be stealthy with hydro... in that it is much easier to dump nute water out than it is to dump buckets full of dirt out.... you dont have to carry bags and bags of dirt into your home.. and hydro is...
autos coming down saturday night and sunday... figure it will take a good amount of time to get to them all... started to flush yesterday....
big girls are starting to have hella bud sites.. should be flowers in a few days....
the rocks i used to put at the bottom of the buckets did 2 things.. added extra weight incase the plant got heavy... it made sure it stayed upright... and it assisted with drainage a lot... sometimes the drain holes can get plugged up with shit.. this can make drainage slow.. and make it look...
plain water misting is worthless... no reason to..
the super thrive may very well be helping to build a stronger root system.. as well as the increase in nutes being more food for them.. go ahead and increase to 3/4 strength and see how they do.. you may go full strength... 3/4s may be enough...
well the first thing is you should make sure the ec meter is calibrated right.. there arent many on the market that you dont have to calibrate.. if you have one that does need to be calibrated from time to time you should do it now just to make sure things are ok...
other than that if you are...
its ok buddy.. ill let ya slide... hahaha
really i guess its a growers preference as to what they do.. im not here to tell anyone they have to do like i say.. or whatever...
but there is a good amount of information (such as feeding closer to harvest) that gets left out because a lot of...
and aside from all that... pistil colors have VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY little to do with the doneness of a flower... pistils are disposable to the plant.. by that i mean throughout the flower cycle pistils will die and be replenished.. 1 day you could have a bud that has red/brown pistils on it...
your telling me during the largest potential growth phase of the flowers you would cut nutes out?? for 2 weeks even?? wow... terrible advise....
first lets begin with the fact that the last couple weeks show the most significant swell... this means they NEED nutes... cutting them out...
more than likely it was a combination of a few things... moisture, warmth, light, and little air movement... this can cause the top of soils and rockwools cubes to grow mold on the outside.. green mold right??
the easiest way to take care of it is carefully remove the layer you see and then...
im almost sure at this point its just a lack of a strong root system that is the issue... the roots cant draw enough up into them to feed the plant as it needs... maybe running at like 80%...
they may strength up over time... or they may not.. its hard to say.. potentially if you are getting...
make sure you do.. lol
i hope to get myself a camera in the next few weeks.. maybe ill ask for one for my birthday.. its coming up in a couple weeks...
i ended up pulling the one "sick" girl.. i think she would have recovered.. but not quick enough.. with only 12 hours of light a day i think...
not sure how much you read back so ill catch you up just in case..
the girls that were under the floros in the video just go out of hand... to the point i couldnt even get back to the spot i started the video in... so i ended up switching the rooms all together...
now i have all the autos...
