Yeah I agree. I prefer individual buckets too. I will trade whatever benefits recirc. gives you for the ability to move my plants around as needed. I dont believe there is a whole lot of benefit to recirculating a DWC setup anyway.

I am not sure on this. They say the sun is brighter than any light you can buy for growing so wouldnt it make sense that outdoor grows would bleach if it was a fact?

There is not an auto out there that will even come close to filling a 5 gallon bucket dude. You are just wasting soil by using them.

This is coming from a guy that reccomends $5 a bag soil over Pro-Mix or Roots organic.

Hey another thing to watch for with MG soil is bugs. Watch out and kill em asap if you run into any but it seems you are far enough ino your grow where you would know by now.

I squeeze the bud with my thumb and if the thumb print stays indented then it is too early. If the thumb print bounces back out some then I toss em in the jars.

I would transplant now. In the future 5 gallon buckets is wicked overkill for autos. 3 gallons is more than you need.

I would aerate the mix if you plan on storing it for any longer than a couple days and add some peroxide if it will be longer than a week and keep them cool and outta the light.

Well dont be afraid to give it a try. I took forever to try it out because I thought it was to easy to kill plants and blah blah blah. It is by far the easiest way I have seen to grow. It is cleaner, easier and the plants grow waaayyy faster and bigger. Its great man it really is.
