yep i DEFFINATLY can relate.
my hook-ups are always real bummed out when im the first customer to call out a shitty cure, or over priced buds lol
and i actually realized that the type of smell i fell so in love with was simply a lack of flushing, and was actually alot of nasty chemicals...
yea, they deffinatly are. it wicked about 1/2 inch out of the bucket since i started. but im goona give it a go, wish i had 2 plants ready to chop though so i could test it on one and not the other to see if it does actually help.
sweet! iv pondered on water curing since i ever heard of it...
"Fermentation is the process in which microbes and plant enzymes break down complex chemicals into simpler ones, mainly starch and sugars into alcohol and simple acids. In the process chlorophyll is destroyed, giving the material a more ripened appearance."
this is from part of the link in your...
im not sure if im talking about the same thread, but StinkBudz has many threads with his DIY fence post areo-ponics systems. and many many people that have built from his instructions have posted in his threads. may be a good place to look bro.
you will not find a plant that finishes sooner then 8 weeks IMO
for future refference an average time-line is 9-12 weeks depending on sativa, or indica dominant.
i dont waste my time PHing water for soil plants unless the water you are using is wayyy off. the PH of my tap is around 7.0 and it works perfectly fine.
if in soil i would not worry about PH unless you see a problem.
iv realized that almost all my plants have a pretty strong smell while there vegging( some smell minty, some smell like dank bud) it really just varies from plant to plant, strain to strain. it isnt a sign of flowering or maturity, but more of a sign that the plant is vigerous and happy =]
this...
oh they will deffinatly produce some good buds if they are females. keep an eye for them pre flowers lol
your doing good. the only other tip i can think of right now is, PATIENCE is the key bro!
keep it up =]
yes. if you are running your nutes full strength, and you add 1 gal you will add whatever your nutes call for per gal.(my nutes are 1oz per gal)
and you want to check PH after adding it.
yep. exactly wut FUBAR said.
make sure you check your PH after any changes to the water. and checking it once a day will allert you if you are having root problems befor the foliage of the plants allert you.
when changing your PH dont change it to dramatically either. 6.1 is 10x diffrent from...
this a good looking setup bro. and healthy plants =]
the only thing i would change, is more space side-to-side because i like LST, and like to get all my bud sites in prime lighting. witch is personal opinion lol
but all around id grow in it! lol
this is true, some strains will have all hairs calyxing/turning redish and the next morning you will have 100s of new white hairs poping out ready to fatten the buds. watching the hairs is IMHO the worst way to tell if its ready to harvest
i think all 4 pollens would sorta mix together and cause the plants to make one, CRAZY hybrid. with each seed having VERY diffrent traits, and strong characteristics, but the same strain.
but i know for a fact that if you pollenate only one branch, only that branch will grow seeds.
id be happy to have a hermi if its just a fun, personal use grow. let it fully mature so you can plant the seeds and grow them again.
its impossible to tell you if its ready to chop or not without pictures, but cutting off some sample buds is okay to do. if you really want to.
but untill the...
haha.
seriously though, even if it is. WTF are any of us, or you gonna do about it?..... sit on the internet n babble as if its any other dumb argument....
[EDIT] if you had the power the US goverment has, you wud pull some sketchy shit to bro. dont even lie to yourself and say you wouldnt.
