Yea I am a helper in an indoor grow and we have a large compost pile. That seem to be the best way t0 reduce medium cost. We also buy our worm casting at wallymart. The Canadian peat goes a long way for the price.

Tam..trying to get my head round the CFLs. So if I went out and bought a "cool white" 100w equivalent CFL(in the USA) it would be in the blue spectrum (good for veg)? And then, purchasing a "warm white" 150w equivalent CFL (in the USA) would give more red sprectrum (good for flower)...
