    Help! sick looking leaves

the light might be a little too close for this plant, or it may be ready for a very SMALL amount of nutes. I have anew seedling that looks like this as well. It's still growing fine and the new leaves aren't showing the same problem so I'm not worrying about it. I think my light was too...

Good question Hardroc my friend, but the answer is no, the rock wool is above the water line. Like you said, I water them sparingly, and let the root "search" for the water. I keep the rock wool moist at best, never saturated... Thanks for the suggestion tho dude!

Hell all, quick update time. Super crop plant: Looking very good. The stem on the main growing colas are fat as hell. You can actually see them get fatter where I did my pinch and roll technique to break up the insides of the stem. As I've said, I hope that fatter stem transfers to fatter...

Hi some guy... I'm not sure what they are.. I need to ask my dude down at the grow store. All I know is that they are brown, and liek a sponge. And they fit perfectly in my clone dome tray. I am now finally seeing roots... The plants don't look so hot though. I hope they live. Yes, def...

Damnit guys... my SOG clones are not yet rooted and I'm getting a bit pissed about it. They should be in full veg by now!!!! I took the clones over 2 and half weeks ago, and I'm still not seeing roots. There are roots, but none coming out the bottom of the shit. I tried using this new type...

I love your ghetto setup bro!! It just goes to show that with a little thought and ingenuity, you can accomplish decent grows!!! Good job. My hope is that after a harvest you'll be able to upgrade some of your equipment though. You won't believe what just one 400W HPS light will get you in...

How to build an easy DWC reservoir for little $ + perfect nute solution + PICS!

Yes definitely!!! Those use to be my favorite to take. But now I use lower areas since I like to let the top growth flower..

the bubble action will vary depending on how many gallons of water you have in your res. This is also how you should choose pump size. For me I have 12 gallons of water in my res, so I use a 20 gallon pump. It doesn't put out a massive amount of bubbles, but it's enough to keep oxygen in my...

    Please help diagnose!!

Well, nitrogen deficiency can almost be expected due to the fact that as they flower, they take up a lot less nitrogen. that is why you see yellowing leaves starting from the bottom up....It's an N deficiency. It's usually not a real big deal. As long as your flowers (buds) are looking...

    Yellow died cripsy leaves (pics)

it looks to me like you've either over fertilized which results in nute burn as you said, or you have a nitrogen deficiency. Since the plants are so young, I'd guess an over-fert problem. Try flushing them with straight water for a day or two and watch the new growth closely. If it looks the...

    what are my options here?

DAMN DAMN DAMN!!! Growing for the gold beat me to it! Purple Haze (what a great name!!) seeds. You accidentally crossed your plants. Save them seeds dude...Definitely let them mature all the way. In the long run, you just might be stoked on the cross you've got on your hands now.. I'd...

Thanks Sean. Glad to have you on board. All, I will be taking new pics tonight and will have a new update as well. The girls are looking lovely as ever. I'm also a few days away from a harvest. I'll post some pics from it here, just for gits and shiggles. There are some very nice colas...

How to build an easy DWC reservoir for little $ + perfect nute solution + PICS!

I keep it pretty simple. I have a clone dome. I just take my cutting, dip it in clone gel, place it in pre-soaked rock wool, stick it inside the clone dome and place a light over the top. I wait for roots to shoot at least 3 to 4 inches out of the bottom of the rock wool and then I transfer...

How to build an easy DWC reservoir for little $ + perfect nute solution + PICS!

Good answer. thanks. Like he said, in the short term there is nothing to worry about. Hell, by the time your plants are in flower, they root ball is massive. It would hours and hours if not more than a day for it to completely dry out... -S

    Easy Ryder nutes

that's a good question since it is an auto flowering plant. I would use veg nutes until you see the beginnings of flowering to start and then switch over to the bloom nutes.. Does that sound about right to any one else around here???

I want the cheapest way to do this

Here's a thread I posted on how to build a very effective DWC reservoir for less than 15 dollars. It works very well. If you go to the 2nd page of the thread, I posted pictures of the weed I grow with it. I think you'll be impressed with the pics... :-) Good luck no matter how you go. I...
