I usually flush once a week... So I can load my girls up with nutes again.
A two week flush during the end phase when your plant has it's most explosive growth sounds wrong doesn't it? Take some time to really think about what you're doing. Starving a growing child... You should be ashamed...
I agree with most of the advise Roxi has given minus the point of being able to add moisture to restart the drying/curing process.
Once any of the plant material dries completely the cells die and there's no going back. That's why it's so important not to dry too fast.
Curing is the most...
Not at all. I'm actually wrong on that one.
I don't know a whole lot about auto's as I've never worked with them and in my high searching I got something crossed.
K retract my suggestions about the light. Thought something seemed strange haha.
Looks like you're right on track for a 1mo harvest...
It's all relative. Depends on the desired end product.
I used to be allll about harvesting on milky with some clear.
Now I wait until I have a ton of amber.
Variety is the spice of life :)
I'm gonna second the 1 month guess.
Post pics again in two weeks to get updated advice but you've got some waiting to do :)
Did you see that 20/4 is specifically recommended for this strain? Seems like you may be flowering a bit showly... BM Auto is "56 days from seed" and you're obviously over...
The longer you can keep that plant curing without rot or mold the better it will taste. You will get that moist sticky bud that almost seems to flake apart in your fingers.
Look into using co2 for curing.
I agree with everything green thumb has said so far in this thread.
Slow dry is your friend. I always get a little sad when I see good growers failing in the end when they promote quick drying... And by quick I mean "anything less than 2 weeks". No questions, the best bud I've had has been...
Ha yea. It was actually a side thing just to see what it would do.
Any part of the plant that contacted the spray quickly became grayish and died.
Was interesting watching a plant die within hours.
Letting buds dry too much to avoid mold will ultimately lessen the quality.
If you don't mind a longer cure then use co2 and jar a bit earlier. It will smoke better.
You will need to be the judge of how long you leave the jar open each day... Do it based on how the outside of the bud feels, just...
Wish I had seen this sooner...
Dry ice.
Put a coffee filter or rag over the jar and set a chunk of dry ice over the mouth so the co2 sinks into the jar as it evaporates.
Edit: if you keep having mold issues you can use co2 at any time during curing to help prevent it. It's a good practice for...
You'll be fine using bleach for cleaning. Just make sure you rinse it out thoroughly, which I'm sure you planned on doing anyway.
Bleach becomes bad when you let it get on your plants. I've tested varying strengths of bleach on plants and have seen devistating results from even heavily watered...
For veg or flower?
Veg doesn't really matter... It can be as high or low as you like. If it's higher then make sure you have good airflow around your plants. If it's low then expect to see some funky looking leaves.
For flowering keep it as low as you can. The lower you're able to get it the...
You should try to keep your shit cool bro. The stress will ruin your health...
We don't grow weed to be stressed out ;)
Was offering you help but am fine not doing so.
The plant I just posted went through similar conditions to yours. Overheating, underwatering while I was out of town...
Wow.. Chill man.
I was trying to help you out just in case you were missing something that was holding back your grow. Didn't want a fellow grower to have an issue go unnoticed if their was one.
Ugh the times we live in... Advice is taken as a personal attack. I don't know who you are so I can...
You won't see anything like BM, Gravity, Phosphoload, or others receive much kindness... With the cancer and all.
Here's the practice I've seen most widely used:
Using at 1ml/g (Phosphoload) with 1/2 strength fert. for three days then flush and return to normal feeding.
Don't use these...
I feel like I asked this before but I'm high so I don't remember if I got an answer..
What are you feeding? How much of it? How often?
I'm not at all trying to attack you but again your 5 weeks looks more like 3 on all your plants.
I don't feel like it's only due to low light either.
I'm...
Is your ballast dimmable?
As long as u don't feel too much heat on your hand it should be fine. 3 feet is a lot. I usually have my plants within 2 feet of the bulbs (from the bulb not the reflector glass).
At about 1 foot, even though temps usually feel fine with high airflow, I've seen tops...
