I used GH for two years straight using Lucas Formula, and never had a problem with browning roots! Take a look at my pics or grow journals. I have a couple pics of very healthy root systems and they are a very nice white color... Just my 2 cents... Cheers to all!
At this point (during vegetative growth) you want to focus on the macro nutes not micro so much, and making sure your PH level is correct when trying to diagnose a problem. Always start with PH level and then make sure your N P and K nutes are correct. Looked like a nitrogen deficiency to me...
First I'd say that I would have liked to see pictures of the roots. If the rot set in too far, then the plants may never recover. I know you said you treated with bleach, and generally that's fine. However, the bleach may have simply cleaned up dead roots, giving them the appearance of being...
You don't sound stupid at all. You've done a good job here. And you are also correct to start straight water now as we'll. It may not be two weeks til finished. If you have cloudy trichs now, then amber ones are coming soon. Definitely keep a close eye on them and remember to check in a few...
The last sentence you wrote hit the nail on the head. You're seeing end of life cycle effects. Your flowers look beautiful! Definitely making something outta nothin. Nice grow my man!!
You need to post pics!
QUOTE=weedhead305;8969999]I planted my weed seeds. 2days later i check and it looks like. Grass -___-.. GOOGLE DIDENT HELP GOR SHYT. SO AM ON HERE ..PLZZ ANYONE CAN HELP!!!
You need to remember that nitrogen becomes almost unneeded by the plants after 2 to 3 weeks into flowering (after final "stretch" growth). There for it should not. be surprising that your leaves begin yellowing. In fact it is expected and perfectly normal since nitrogen is the nute that keeps...
Here are two posts that I wrote for building DWC resevoirs EASILY and cheap. I also cover PH levels, and Perfect Nutrient usage via Lucas Formula. I also included pics of how great my plants look.

actually, I'm pretty sure if you had spider mites you'd have spider webbing around the flowers. And the spider mites are pretty easy to see at that point. I'm not sure about a cal mag prob, but that could be possible due to possible PH issue locking out nutes (like PHOS is what I'm thinking)...
Dudes, I am soooo sorry that I've been such a slacker... What can I say... I suck!!! hahahah.
Anyways, I will be back at it here. I've REALLY missed posting and talking plants and growing with you all. I just haven't had much time. I have a hell of an update for every one, but it's 2:30...
I'm back guys... was on hiatus there for a while. The garden is going great and I have lots to write about. I'm a bit busy at the moment, but I'll have an update very soon. I've missed hangin around here, that's for sure!!! hehheh.

when checking your pH levels, try to keep you meter as still as possible. especially with the hannah meters. The probe tip is very sensitive. If you "swirl" it around as you mentioned, it will definitely cause the reading to change. That will be an inaccurate reading.
What I like to do to...
Check out my grow journal. I do DWC Hydro. I run six 400W lights (2 metal halide, 4 HPS). My reservoirs are 18 gallon, filled to 12 gallons with nutrient solution. All of my specs are listed in my grow journal in the first or second post.
Check here...
Yeah, just fill the res back up and give her some time. Like some one else mentioned, if the leaves aren't necrotic, then more than likely she will bounce back. You have to remember, marijuana is a VERY hardy plant. It WANTS to live and will fight like hell to do so.. I'm betting your plants...
Give her a little more time. It's hard to tell at this early stage. Can you post a pic? It sounds to me like you are doing things correctly. Your pH level is ok, and as long as you didn't use too much nutrients, it should be just fine... A picture would be great. :)
yeah you can either move the light further away until the plant gets bigger, or you can switch up to CFL lights in the beginning and move back to your HID lighting after the plant has gained some size...
Your buddy has the right of it. Less nitrogen is being used by the plant during flower. That is why towards the end of flowering (starting around half way through), you will begin to see some of the leaves starting to slowly turn yellow. It's fine. And yes, they will die and fall off...
6.3 is too high for a hydro system. You want to be in the realm of 5.5 to 5.8, no lower than 5.3 and no higher than 6.0. With such a high pH level, you may be experiencing nutrient lock out... Maybe. Then again, your plant may be needing more nutes. have you started feeding her yet? If...
