Things that you can use to speed things up are:
- Two grow spaces, one for vegging and one for budding. Make a mother out of one of your seedlings and then take clones from them to veg up and bud out. It might take a little longer to get this going but in the long run you are taking 2-5...
In potting mix it is best to only water when the mix is dry. In typical potting mix this is about once every 2-3 days or even longer.
Seedlings do not need much of any nutrient in the first 3-4 weeks of their existance. The sign that they are ready to do some adult vegging is when you see...
If you are using feminized seeds then there is no need to wait for preflowers to form for obvious reasons.
Some seedlings will show preflowers before others and I have had the odd one do this at week 4, but when it comes to bagseed you really want to wait until preflowers before switching. An...
If you want max bud from a single plant it is always best to play it safe and aim for the max lighting you can fit in your grow space balanced with your ability to keep the room cool. Also if growing in soil, try for the biggest pot you can find.
Example
Strain: Bagseed
Veg time: 8 weeks...
Use whatever lighting that works for your air extraction/air temps where the end result is that the temps do not climb over 27 degrees celcius at any point during the lights on period. That will depend on where you live and how cool you can keep your grow room.
The first to sprout is not always the best plant. Give them up to about 5 days to sprout. Then veg them for about 6 weeks until you see preflowers. The best ones are the females. ;)
The seedlings are probably quite over fed. Seedlings generally spend the first few weeks of their growing lives trying to establish roots so they do not need much food at all. I generally do not feed mine anything serious until about the 4th week and even then it is half strength feeding.
When...
For the size of the plant it seems that the roots are very undeveloped.
What is the pH and ppm of the feed you are using. Is the nutrient below bubbling up into the clay pellets? If not try top feeding through the pellets every half an hour to see if it perks up.
With the roots so...
What is your feeding cycle?
What lighting system are you using?
What is the concept that you are using that resulted in you choosing to grow in small cups like that?
In most cases the cops do not really have to identify the source of the heat blotch. If they were doing general flyovers then yes they would need to be careful about stating on a warrant application affidavit that a heat blotch is a grow lamp, but in most cases they already have a heads up for...
Your choices are: (assuming you have switched to flowering)
- Bending the plant over, basically tie a string to the stem and tie it over in a bow.
- Top it and tie down the laterals that will stretch up to compensate for the lost of the main cola
- Chemically stunt the growth of the plant with...
She won't die before her time is up. No doubt the plant has been through some stress while in veg and that probably shocked the roots which would have lead to a slowing of uptake in nutrients. Just keep feeding every other watering and keep letting that pot get dry in between waterings. That...
