Twisted new growth. Advice and suggestions welcome!

When was the last time you flushed out the res? It looks to me like the plant is balking at something in the res it doesnt like. Whats the ppm/EC at?

    Overwatering or what?

Thats the thing with different strains. Often they demand different levels of feeding, hence you can see the dark coloring on some of the plants and not on others. Pics 3 and 4 look over fed and could do with a flush and laying off the feed for a round or two..

    Harvest or not ?

Feed it, and let it go to the end of 8 weeks. Do you understand why they look the way they are now?

    Bud rot.

If it is rot forming on buds then the only spray I know that kills budrot on buds are sprays that contain bacillus subtilis. If you have a commercial horticultural supplier in your area, they may sell product sprays with bacillus in them, Serenade Max is one such spray although I have no doubts...

    Blueberry Strain Having Problems

Flush them out thoroughly and only lightly feed from now on. BB is not a big eater during veg.

    Something is going on here..(pics)

When it comes to hydro, the state of the roots are everything. Once the roots get stressed the plant begins to suffer. Preventing root stress is the key. Managing your pH meticulously and regular nutrient changes can prevent many of the problems that hydro growers encounter. In particular...

    Assist, taking so long

Seedlings can most times take up to 8 weeks to get to full size. Clones on the other hand can be bushy and ready for budding in a matter of 2 -4 weeks.

    Help me pinpoint the nutrient

You can find that some strains are more nutrient ppm intolerant than others and that can lead to root stress and then on to nutrient lockout. When it gets to that stage it doesnt really matter how high the ppms are, the roots just refuse to uptake nutrients and then the plant turns to...

1 lb 1 tree indoor, Possible?

Some people just hate hydro. Me I do not mind either way, but the difference is maintenance time. This plant gets 5 gallons of water, every 5 days. If you have the time then hydro is the way to go if you want super yields. I just do not have the time. In the end the yield is great so who...

Leaves curling under and drooping, turning yellow and greyish

I have never been much of a fan of growing in thin plastic cups. For one thing they let a lot of light into the rootzone which can encourage pathogen growth, but worst of all the roots are not protected from the heat from lamps. I bet that if its 80f with lights on, then the soil temps in...

    what this ?!?!?

The other possibility though is that over use of co2 will look exactly the same as that. Which is why I am asking for more information from this grower. PPM of the nutrient and PPM of the co2 as well as the length of time the co2 is dosing the air.

    what this ?!?!?

While on that subject, what is the ppms of your nutrient solution
  13. Jonus

    what this ?!?!?

Ok, thanks for that. What are the PPMs of your co2 and for how long do you feed co2 when lights are on?

Please give opinions - is my crop doomed?

If the pods have hairs coming out of them then they are female pods.

PH problem VS. Nitrogen Problem. You Be the Judge.

Any idea about daytime temps? It is root stress of some sort that is why when you add more stress to the root area the plant tends to look worse afterward.

    smudgy looking spots on leaves

Expect leaves to start to crap out on you when plants are in flowering. Keep feeding them in a flush feeding manner to prevent salt buildup because there isnt much space in the roots for food.

how do i know with when to flush if its a unknown strain?

If the plant looks like an indica dominant, big bushy leaves, then it will most probably be an 8 week flowering plant so you can start your flush. If it is a sativa looking plant then you will have to make a guess by the state of the trics. A pic or two might help though as we may be able to see...

    High temps?

If your plants are not stressed by it just roll with it for another 2 weeks. Install the aircon for the next round. But thats just a guess having no idea about your setup or state of your plants.
  19. Jonus

    what this ?!?!?

From looking at a 3rd of two fingers of one leaf it looks to me like over feeding, over watering stress - assuming the plant is in veg, but if its in flowering then depending on how long into flowering it could well be normal. To help people determine what the prob is can you supply more...

    seedlings look bad

What are the temps in the room with lights on, lights off. What lighting system are you using Air? Nutrient of any sort? Additives? Strain? Age of the seedlings?
