Are you talking about spraying them with hydrogen peroxide?? I've heard of people doing this to kill mold but I wouldn't spray the buds with anything after you see trichs forming..
Sunrise to sunset is about 12 hours right now.. I've been doing this for awhile.. My first harvest will be mid April.. Last year I harvested my last plants about a week before Thanksgiving.. This method really works great for me.. I'm really a KISS grower. Maybe I should say LAZY !! I don't use...
I had one of those when I first started checking my trichs.. The easiest way for me to focus was to press it against my wrist and focus on the hairs. Then I would hold the bud by a leaf to keep it steady as I looked at the trichs. I never was really happy with it.. I picked up a 30x loupe and it...
If you are vegging plants indoors under 18/6 you can stick them outside just about anytime it's warm enough and they will flower just fine. I veg indoors at 18/6 till my plants are about 2 feet tall. I put plants outside every 30 days from March til September and they always go straight to flower.
I gotta agree.. 3 gallons are my preference. Much easier to move around when needed.. If I were going to have a long grow I'd use bigger pots. I start my 2 month veg in 1 gallon pots and flower in 3 gallons. Works out great..
I can't imagine having a space that small with 5 plants. Must be hard to get good airflow and light penetration. If it were my space I would start with only 2 plants. LST them a bit when they are small so you have 6 to 8 vertical branches and veg them until they are about 2 feet tall. Keep the...
I tried it a few times. Never really saw any benefit. Could be because of my short cycles. I veg for about 2 months indoor and flower outside for about 2 months. If I were growing trees all year I might notice a difference.
If you're on an 18/6 schedule indoors your plants will start to flower no matter what time of year you move them outside. I do this all year long from Mar til September..
If you start those plants at 18/6 indoors they are going to start flowering as soon as you set them outside. You're going to waste a lot of dirt and a lot of nut's..
They will go straight to flower. If the plant is use to 18/6 and you throw it outside, it thinks the days just got a lot shorter and it's time to bud. You could try slowly reducing the light cycle indoors until it matches the hours of light per day outside.
I do this all year long !! This is the 3rd year. I veg my plants indoors for about 2 months. I put them outside and they flower. I never have a problem with them reverting back to veg. I try to put 3 plants outside every 30 days so I have a perpetual 30 day harvest. I've read a lot of peoples...
It also depends on what kinda cooling you're doing with that light. I use to use a 600 hps (I flower outdoors now) for flowering. As long as I had my 400 cfm fan cooling it I had no heat issues at all !!
Even my one gallon plants get more water that that at one time. I usually have at least a half inch in the catch tray after I water. The plant will suck it back up in a very short time. I've tried all kinds of methods of watering. Meters, schedules, etc.. Listen to Harley !! Water by weight.
Last time I took clones it was from 2 plants that I'd been growing about 3 or 4 months. They had been lst'd from the start. I took 35 clones. These plants were from clones themselves so I didn't have to worry about sex. If I were you I'd plant all those seeds at one time. Once they show their...
