It was a nice read thanks. Can I be honest though? It didnt really answer my question and curiosity. My plants are not suffering at all right now. I just wanted to know what you guys thought about the idea of watering the soil only wen the soil has dried.

Ah ok, yeah you got where I was coming from. I never thought about it until now; 2nd full grow ever. I just figured that the dehumidfier would not be needed if others spray mist water on their leaves and growing buds in order to get optimal results. Im just all about learning whats helped...

Sorry I didn't mean water the plants soil, I meant water the plants leaves and buds. I just wanted to be sure since I use a dehumidifier to make sure the buds don't get mold.

Do I keep watering the plants during flowering phase?

I can pull one earlier and save the other one for later and then save a sample of both and have it tested to see if early or late harvest has any effect on the cbd levels at all. Has anyone tried to do this?
