3rd Week flowering- Question

Yes. Pot plants need a steady source of water all through their life span. Buds that are sticky have been given enough water during the
flowering stage for the plant to produce the sticky resin we all love.

If you are unsure about how much to water try this -- pour enough water through your plant to match the pot size. If you are using a
3-gallon pot pour 3 gallons of water on your plant. That way you know you have fully watered. Next day push a skinny stick through the
soil to the bottom of the pot and pull it out. You are checking to see how much wet dirt sticks to the stick. Next day do the same. By the
third or fourth day you will notice your stick shows more bare stick than wet stick. When the stick is nearly dry water again.

Sorry I didn't mean water the plants soil, I meant water the plants leaves and buds. I just wanted to be sure since I use a dehumidifier to make sure the buds don't get mold.

Personally, not too much is mentioned about this in regards to the flowering cycle. I, personally, do NOT get water on my leaves when in the flowering cycle.

Ah ok, yeah you got where I was coming from. I never thought about it until now; 2nd full grow ever. I just figured that the dehumidfier would not be needed if others spray mist water on their leaves and growing buds in order to get optimal results. Im just all about learning whats helped others get optimal results.

So do you guys mist your plants during flowering phase?

It all depends on climate and conditions. If you live in a very dry area or if the leaves feel dry/hard to the touch, misting now and again won't hurt anything. Just use purified water.

I like to mist my plants very lightly about once a week after I water, but I have good ventilation so the water dries quickly. Without airflow the water droplets can create hotspots for the light and burn the leaves.
