Tobacco Juice - Is it really organic?

Combination reply toward the OP ... I should have taken a few minutes to remove the sarcasm aspect from this now that I see how that reads ... Heck, looks like I needed to unstring some thoughts period! RE: The idea of introducing the specific forms of radiation - the only way I know of to...

Tobacco Juice - Is it really organic?

Laughable on the idea of the chemical pesticide and radiation poisoning from this method of course, but there can be a dark side to using the tobacco/nicotine as a pest control. --> Cannabis is suspect to infections by both TRSV - Tobacco Ring Spot Virus and TSV - Tobacco Streak Virus...

Color of the pots, not the pot!

Just needs to block light if you're in the camp of high intensity light damaging roots. Maximizing root health and confusion over stoned reading of hydro setups more than likely leading to these masturbatory discords. The reason some people swear on various colors is the light penetration...

    Rubbermaid 12/12 from bagseed grow

Ambient draw temp from the outside may not be low enough then or your exchange rate needs to increase ... Lots of micro setups with less than ideal temp and exchange rates through them require sectioning to overcome this. Best example would be PC cases running small CMH or HPS bulbs. Turning...

    Rubbermaid 12/12 from bagseed grow

And get your heat under control and that RH up. Over aggressive transpiration will also lead to further problems. Up to and including crisping the leaves which can mimic the look of some nute issues. Had to mention it. Cannabis has a sweet zone in temp and RH. Seedlings usually do better...

    Raising humidity in rubbermaid....suggestions?

Cant tell what you have for airflow in your RM cab. I'd try the large sponge in a cup of water first. This will require monitoring and testing to see how much surface area evaporation will get you the desired result. From there you can make more modifications to have a self feeding gravity...

    PC grow box help

Everything I can think of from having worked on these and the servers is probably not at your disposal. Again, bits, dremel tool, airhammer, drill, rivet puller, epoxy, files (lots of edges sometimes need that, dont laugh), etc. I've had to use the epoxy quite a few times thanks to cheap bits...

    Cyber Security bill

This round they worded it and put the emphasis on terrorism even though it obviously isn't about that on far too many levels. And worse, it passed the House this evening. Headed to the Senate floor. Hopefully it dies there. My concern is the NSA's new toy factory they're completing. These...

    PC grow box help

If you dont have the correct security bit to remove, you can use an epoxy to create something to get on them with like pliers, or drill them out. Security bit sets are a good idea to have for tearing into lots of things. Cheap and commonly available as well.

backyard privacy with only 6 foot fences??? How do you backyard growers do it??

Carport or greenhouse ... the rest of the location is up to you. It's not as if you're not aware of all the potentials having done this before. Just not sure I'd cold test the neighbors with a fully visible grow. That second story overlook just makes me cringe. I'd want to be really sure...

    Sannies Seeds Kolosus

*** Not a troll or lecture. Just feel like posting a long diatribe to share some thoughts with no "hating" or other ill will towards yourself. Please keep this in mind if you bother to read the rest *** I'll play devil's advocate on this for you ... many of us love Sannie. Most who've had...

    Militant Atheists calm down.

While it is out of context in some ways, there are examples of persecution converting ... usual toward spirituality though. Prison and foxholes. These two places in my experience convert more people as they are forced to into introspection. Especially the prison system. Or enforced 12 step...

    Cheap air cooling of buckets

Not sure where to find a source on how much power a fridge with freezer or for that matter a standard freezer. But there is a thermodynamics rule or two involved here. The amount of time and calories being exchanged to create that ice at whatever rate vs the power requirements needed to...

    Cheap air cooling of buckets

Air temp from pumps does increase a fair degree. Depends on the pump from what I recall on just how much. Come from the soil/hempy world so I've never paid this much attention. Key examples I noted previously were where people were trying to reduce all factors for maintaining salt fish tanks...

    Cheap air cooling of buckets

Ah, translation issue on my part ... I assumed you were needing/using the AC unit regardless and that this would be an increased cost for your setup or an alteration. I merely wished to express considerations for helping you make it work as you appeared committed to this solution. The only...

Has science proven cannabis to be completely safe?

One potential grey underlining: Not going to debate lung health/memory/development/psychosis/and the other scare tactics but the question was about potential/proven harms ... This is one outlying thing that comes up that thankfully the prohibs dont latch onto: Cannabinoid hyperemesis...

    Cheap air cooling of buckets

Depending on the location of the fridge it will add heat to the inside as it exchanges. Especially if you need to vent it (you will) to allow the pump its air source. This forces the fridge to run constantly and makes it incredibly inefficient. Also watch for starting AMPs needed on even...

    indoor out door thermometer

Typically the probe would be put outside and the inside would just be on the base unit. So unless you've managed to place that probe somehow strategic for getting a different reading, it shouldn't really matter which.
