I was just looking at the Jillybean and it may be a male, although it's still hard to say. Thought I saw a little something on a stalk, but it MIGHT be new veg. I'll put some higher mag on it tomorrow for a better look. I just sprouted an Agt.Orange and a 3D two wks ago, can use the pollen on...
Tough question, lots of variables. I'm in a 4x4 and usually have 9 going at once, but they are all at different ages- the new additions are small and the big ones are nearly done, so i can make it work. The querkle gets pretty bushy, so if I were doing them all at once i would go with 5 or 6 and...
Those are what people call "bananas", they are male flowers and will pollinate. You may want to chop the plant if you have others in with it. If they aren't extensive you can pick them out with tweezers. I had a Pak. Valley too close to the lights, the top bud stressed and threw out some...
With non-auto, start counting when you see pistils after switching to 12/12 in order to figure an approximate finish date. Example: If you put in 12/12 on Dec 1, wait til you see pistils, say Dec 15. Then count your 8 wks flower from there so they'd be done around Feb 09.
For autos they grow...
I think he was saying that after it sprouts it will be in "veg" or vegetation stage, where you are now. You need to veg for a bit to let the plant get established. If you have room you should veg until the plant is mature, 6-8 wks.
When he says "starts to flower" he is talking about the plant...
For me it's like reading all the seed catalogues- they ALL look good! I admit to fucking up the grow for a while (nutes, pH, inferior soil)), so these plants aren't the best examples, but I agree with you on those 3. Each is aromatic and tasty which is important to me, good size and yield. The...
This was supposed to be the make-up for an order I paid for but they never shipped. That was Oct.1st (I wanted the Oct UFO).. I re-ordered again as requested, this time trying for the Dec UFO. I got the seeds in January, no UFO's or PR of any kind. I don't think I'm up for the hassle of trying...
Glad you like the pics. I'm pleased myself, but it's sheer luck. The cam is a Nikon CoolPix that I found on the swap table at the dump. The battery cover was broken, so I have to screw it onto a tripod to keep it closed. Maybe the tripod helps with the quality.
Jillybean got topped for various reasons, and I went with the Uncle Ben's Method, because why not.
Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to get 2 or 4 MAIN colas
This plant was topped at 30 days veg. from seed, that was 6 days ago. I will add 2 pics from the day after it was topped, compare to note...
Caramelo, Delicious Seeds, day 42. Very snowy, good solid buds, good size. Smells like a bouquet of flowers, and beginning to turn purple (it's 1/2 Lavender). I've liked this one for a while, really shows nice stuff throughout the grow.
