i read on 420 magazine that they will work for your plants but they arnt "ideal" for growing bud cause it takes to much close attention to grow weed. They did say it will work well temporarily but it isnt a good idea. So if you have to... go for it. But they suggested a drip set with a water...

I dont remember the article but i read it on this site that you can grow a feminized plant wayyy past when its supposed to be harvested and the stress will make it produce pollen sacs, never done it myself but its worth looking into

I dont know much about hydroponic or aerogarden set ups or grows but in soil that dropping look comes from over watering. Thats jus my input though. Regardless you need more light
