Never trim fan leaves, unless they are almost dead already. Fan leaves are your plants solar panels, and they provide the energy your plants need to grow. If it is underneath your scrog and not getting any light at all I would consider it, but try to avoid it if you can! Good luck to you!

I got the papaya almost ready to flower, she did real nice in vegg, super-cropped well.
