Hey Xander Try to give the seedling a little light even though it's under soil. They seem to use the light to work out which way is up. I've often seen the root break through the soil instead of the top. It's no big deal but it does delay things a few days as the plant rights itself.

Got no scientific stuff on mixing the spectrums but I like the effect I get by using some blue light during the flower cycle. You could do either and get good results, so go with the cheapest option :)
