Good info. I tend to agree that 10 - 15% blue spectrum makes a noticeable difference to health and potency of plants. I was considering a uvb bulb but I may reconsider if the uva output is counterproductive. Thanks for the post.
Hey skagnetti
Really glad the journal helped. I Look forward to seeing those pics.
I guess you are doing a grow box and a flower box with the bulbs you are buying. Just be aware that you may run out of room if you veg for too long.
Hey Xander
Sorry to hear about the mazar. It may have been temp/humidity related rather than a lack of light, they just stretch if the light level is too low. I tend to put a zip lock bag over them for the first few days as this gives them plenty of humidity and helps them to acclimatise to...
Hey skagnetti
The soil sounds ok and has a good ph. It also sounds like there's plenty of nutes already added so just don't add any until the plants look like they need them.
Your shopping list looks fine.
Good luck with the grow.
Auto's take around 70days from seed but seem to benefit from an extra few days, so aim for around 75 - 80 days.
When drying / curing try to hang the bud upside down in a dark cupboard for a week. If it's hung it will retain it's shape and look nice when it's dry. After a week put it into a glass...
So bud density is your measure of success huh?
Why then is the agricultural industry not scrabbling around trying to get denser fruit or
flowers? I've never heard of dense roses or strawberries so why should it be correct when growing MJ? Surely a dense lettuce is a cauliflower, not a...
Impressive link. Ta.
Just wish it would have finished :(
My stuff is in storage now so I don't have the album or a turntable to put it on :(
Gonna surf & find that mofo before the night is out tho ;)
I pay good money and much attention to detail to keep such a record, but I take your point :)
Touche :)
Loving all your grows fella. You never follow the rules and that's me all over :)
Fine pics again fs. As per :)
Plants look wicked. Did you say the runt has set a seed? Was that the plant you just threw on the compost pile?
You have the luck of the devil if that's right!
Sorry to hear that Outdo.
You got to be careful with the little ones.
Not sure leaving those roots in is a good idea and if you overnuted & killed the last occupant then it doesn't bode well for the new guy unless you really flushed everything out before reusing it.
Sounds like some perlite or...
