I put them in paper bags or part of a cardboard box. I usually dry em fast with a fan directly on them since it is just going to be made into hash or coconut oil.
Dry ice hash is super easy and you don't need to use any chemicals. Just need a bubble bag and some dry ice. Takes about 10 minutes including clean up time...
I prefer the cloth pots (like smart pots) for soil. You can use one of those reusable bags from the grocery, just fold or cut it down so its not to tall and put some tray under it for run off. The walmart bags work fine.
After harvest, I use mason jars and the Bovida 62 packs to store after they have been dried. Though you can wait until you get closer to harvest to think about that :)

I just use the cheap yellow PH pen from Amazon, works fine @$10, but I keep a backup in case it goes bad. I have lost a couple of the cheap ones, once from dropping it on the cement (was baked) and once from dropping and forgetting it in my EWC tea(was again baked).
Thanks.
Not going to run it again though. It is super potent, but it has such a strong hash and earthy flavor you almost cannot take a rip without coughing a lung up. Also, the cut I have has a tendency to go herm so I get seeds which really irks me. I am looking forward to running a nice...
I wouldn't say 12-14 is average, that would be on the high side. Indica will usually go quicker and I generally harvest around 70 days after flowering. That said, I also usually grow from clones which tend to finish faster since they begin flowering sooner after the lights flip.
If you are not...
Trichs are just one part of it, the pistils should be receded and the calyx swollen and I shoot for a majority to be cloudy, I don't really care about amber but I seem to get more amber on the indica strains I run than I do on the heavy Sativas. I like to see a good amount of fox tailing on the...
A little more info might be helpful, like how big is this other tent you want to run?
Also just getting into hydro, first run was a couple DIY RDWC buckets with a screen in a 24x48 tent, switched this run to a little ebb and flow table in the same space (rez is external). For me, the E&F has...
Hard to say, but there are 3 variables. Rwdc vs ebb and flow, keeping the MH light in for the first 2 weeks after flip and modified my screen to 2" squares. My gut says it has more to do with the light, but would need to run again to see. I might try a different strain in rdwc and see if...
