Here is how I am thinking about modifying my current light. So it is 'kind of' a cool tube. This and raising it up into the ceiling of the box should help quite a bit.
Ya, my light has it's longest section parallel to the width of the box. It's offset though, and kinda shitty. I'd like it to light the box more evenly. I will eventually remodel. What I'm planning to do is just get a large piece of plexi or something that can hold light, something flat. And...
I was about to make a joke..... but I just can't word it properly, and after the 5th rewrite it just doesn't work. I blame it on the fact that imhella high right now too.
I have grown a few Northern Lights from Nirvana. I am currently on day 64 of flower on my first batch of Jock Horror. So I only have experience with the smoke from Northern Lights.
Let me try to explain my experience. The one thing I can say is the Northern Lights is an OK plant. By that...
Ya, that probably sounds about right. I saw a big thread somewhere about whether it is organic or not, but got exhausted reading with all the back and fourth :)
I've since moved from the FF Big Bloom to the Aurora Soil Synthetic Bloom. The guy at the store said he liked it and was an advocate of the synthetic ferts. He could have just been a shill, who knows? But I figured I'd try the synthetic product instead of the FF BB. Although I don't know if...

Nah not really. If I do, it would be just tying down the 4 main branches sooner around the time I put into flower so they'll grow out just a little bit while they're still flexible before they start growing up.
Since you have some experience with Jock, what would you say the grade is? Like would it be considered "FIRE" on the streets, or would it just be good?
Final round of topping is done on the JH. I still plan on vegging a lot longer than usual. I usually veg for 30 days. With this I'm already @ day 35, and I'll probably be going at least another 20 days or so.
Haha, I probably should have been more persistent with getting it off w/o using that baking soda. Based on comments here, it seems that was probably what made it less appealing. So if I ever try it again, I'll keep the baking soda away.
So, from the 1/2 gallon pot of NL I just harvested. Just de-stemmed and took down, my dry weight is 18 grams.
What I am getting:
2 gallon pots -> ~30-36grams of dry weight.
1/2 gallon pots -> ~18 grams of dry weight.
So, about 2:1 ratio of yield.....but I believe I can get much more out...
I like them cause they are easy to dispose of, and pretty easy to do what you want with them. I also like that you can kind of shape them to the size you want them to be to accommodate your grow space.
Crazy, how does that glassware work? Does that create the "milk-shots" that people talk about?
Do you just put the herb like you have it and hit it with a butane or something?
