    Wow...Just Wow

December 1941, Pearl Harbor attack - March 2011, 9.0 Earthquake in Japan, let's see here, there must be some way to tie these two events together.....OK, try this, GOD in His infinite wisdom decided that after 66 years of peaceful, prosperous co-existence with the people of Japan, it was time to...

    Marijuana Seeds

It seems that a number of seed houses have somewhat straightened up their acts. I'm seeing sites that screwed ME in the past, suddenly become models of customer service. I guess the Attitude set the standard and the rest had to follow suit to survive. Anyway, that's my take on the current state...

    Welcome New Members!

Hi Mid, the term "expensive" is relative, and using CFL is a great way to start seedlings. With some careful shopping, you could invest as little as $20, and have a satisfactory light system. Good luck & good grow.......BB

Tafbang Ceiling Light Grow Part 2

Good grief! Hopefully we've gotten the "hermie" thing figured out, so now can we get back to the real-deal here, tafbang's grow show! It just doesn't seem right to come into a man's grow thread and start a dust up over "How to deal with hermies?" Can't we just focus on the subject at hand: 7...

    2010 Grow from Burger Boss

Went out at 8 this morning and discovered spider mites in the cold frame! After 10 minutes of great rage, :fire: and assorted irrational behavior,:wall: :cuss: :finger:  :spew: I reached for a great bong-load of "Blue Venom", bongsmilie (I thought that was most...

    Reusing cloning solutions?

I would dump anything that appears suspicious. I use the cheapest stuff out there, Greenlight Rooting hormone powder. 2 oz for $5. I dump a few grams on a piece of paper, roll the moistened stems in it and discard whatever is left over. Viola! No contamination for further use. BTY, my last...

Sorry if this is a dumb question!

Just to be clear: there is a point of "light saturation", where the plant has reached it's limits to utilize the in coming photon's. Outdoors, it's meaningless, indoors, it's a waste of electrical energy, which = $. Good luck & good grow.......BB

I need experts opinion pls !!!!!!!

I'm not suggesting any thing expensive or elaborate. Maybe a 6' extension cord, a plug-in lamp socket, 1 40 watt 5500 k CFL, = maybe $9 if you look around. This would work for at least a month. And yes, I've heard of "water-burn" from magnified light through water beads on leaves. But at 39"...

    SUPER cheap CFL reflectors

Hi Ms, thanks for the peek in, and pleasant comments. I was thinking that this Type of cfl reflector could be commercially produced, pre-punched, with adjustable "neck-hole" sizing, and a variety of sizes, (8",12", 16",etc.), and for super cheap! LOL, to be 20 years younger, and still have a...

    Welcome New Members!

Rufuss, when I say more info is needed, I'm referring to YOUR grow-op: what are your containers?, what size?, what is your media?, what is your light schedule? This information is necessary for any kind of accurate answer. You say "Thai" bag seed, so I will assume you're growing something very...

I need experts opinion pls !!!!!!!

Hi, the "yellowing" usually indicates over hydration, but not sure in your case. But that 400 watts of HID on a 13 day old plant sounds a bit much. At this stage, I'd be using maybe 125 watts of 5500K CFL. Good luck & good grow.......BB

GG, yes, this is the part of the plant where buds form. From the pix you present, it appears to be almost that time. Again, I urge a little patience, soon you will know without a doubt, just what you have, male/female? Good luck & good grow.......BB

7 days ago I setup the huge cold frame thinking it's all good now until the weather warms up. Well, guess again burger! Had to pull 3 Moby Dick's out cuz they were trying to "raise the roof". So I've got them into 10 gallon tubs with plastic sheeting covered tomato cages. This...
