141ppm isn't that bad. My buddy grows using 180ppm tap water with a waterfarm with no problems whatsoever.

With a GL80, you might be able to get by with a 400w if your ambient temperatures are good and you have an air-cooled reflector. Otherwise, I personally think that the GL80 would be best suited with a 250w HPS. I have a SJ DR100L and believe that they make the best tents.

The screens do get dirty fast, but I clean them about every 2 weeks with ISO and salt. Your best bet is to order replacement screens from ebay or directly from Arizer.

To drain the waterfarm, you do so by using the blue draining tube. Just pull it downwards and the res will empty.
