Theres a grow in Alberta that has its license but you look at all the owners of said company and its a bunch of Calgary yuppies jumping on the bandwagon early and charging a small fortune for medical grade MJ (no clue if it actually is). Just another get rich quick group.
Yea he doesn't sell it, its all for personal consumption. Im sure they'd nail him for taxes if he sold it but thats why I asked. I'm relatively ignorant to what most of the candidates are saying about MJ other than Harper who is on a "vote for me because MJ is more harmful than tobacco" rant...
what more can people really do? I'm genuinely curious. People see the money making potential in weed because of all the restrictions in place so it fits perfectly for a country like Canada where we're used to the same wireless providers, same ISPs, the same stores overcharging Canadians and...
As long as the cons are in power, it's not going to get any better. I'm curious at the size of this space that they were going to hire 400 people lol. It seems like you would need 1/10 that for that space.
Im curious why you say wrong for legalization resulting in easier production. They tax alcohol but that doesn't stop my dad from producing liters and liters of his home grown fruit that he ferments into some weird liquor that he likes.
Legal will be legal if they don't try to restrict production, thats the key. Health Canada seems to be dragging it's feet when it comes to certifying a grow. Those guys are also trying to protect their investment by lobbying to not change the system so they can be the sole producers/providers...
theyre pretty much dead even between the two of them in terms of size, i forgot you had to be logged in to view photos on that forum and i can't seem to save and reupload them either :/ But the platinum plant seems to have a better look overall to it. I'm just following it to see what he gets at...
Promix dries after 4 days usually after a good watering, only reason it wouldn't is poor air circulation in the room or a plant that has stopped doing anything with the soil. Dropping temperatures also can extend the period of soil wetness. I don't know if others do it but i've never had to add...
From what I've seen side lighting will help only when the top lights aren't sufficient but it's not to say that it can't help. I've seen some single tube t5s and cfls on bendy style lamp fixtures to target the inner buds since their heat signature is lower but I couldn't tell you if they...
I'm guessing you guys don't approve but it's still worthwhile information by what seems to be a 3rd party tester. You must know it's hard to find reliable/truthful information when it comes to LEDs which is a big reason why I haven't even really sniffed at pursuing it. Too much marketing speak...
Personally, I would not flip those yet but if you're going to then I would also recommend bringing the lights closer to the plants. This is what I have for a veg area with CFLs (in the pic). Anywhere where there isn't light the plant grows slower so you can see the top areas is bushy and has a...
This guy over at grasscity is doing a comparison grow between 2 different LED manufacturers including MARS hydro: http://forum.grasscity.com/indoor-grow-journals/1378594-platinumled-mars-hydro-comparison-grow.html
Its very interesting to see since growers on other forums where certain companies...
just weighed out my GSC grow and I got about 2 1/2 ounces dry off the plant. For a personal grow, a 400w more than does the job. I still have 5 GSC clones growing in various stages from that plant so I'll be looking forward to those in the future.
i think the one of the best reasons to get a tent is for odor control, but it's way cheaper to just make a wood frame to whatever dimensions you want with 2 x 2 boards and staple panda film or mylar (if you're in an area that has it) and achieve the same effects for a fraction of the cost. Jorge...
its fine to trim a few if they are really shading your bud but overall you want fan leaves, they do get cannibalized sometimes when the plant is hungry
