why post a message with a tone like that lol? Are you trying to prove something by saying you did this? I did an outdoor grow that ran out of time but before the plants were hit with frost I managed to cut a dozen or so clones of partially mature flowers. The reveg was kind of bizarre and grew...
for 30 plants? You're going to need a lot and you're better off getting lots of low wattage ones vs one high watt CFL bulb because of how CFL light efficiency degrades the further away it is. Also they have terrible penetration so what ingenious CFl growers do is build cages or box a plant up...
I second dunking promix mixes once in a while. I've found it can dry out so much and then when you water you need to do it in intervals of 15 minutes 2-3 times to allow the water to expand the grow medium.
Ideally you want to only cut the top growing tip while the 2 side chutes stay intact to become your fork but this way works too but you could have cut sooner if you cut the entire thing therefore save you a week or more of grow time.
next time mix in some 2 tablespoons dolomitic limestone/gallon of soil into your mix so you don't get calmag issues. Its easier than having to watch for deficiencies.
what brand of lights? I think my first apollos had that issue
Yea its really not shaping up to be fair in Canada. It's no wonder all these massively funded corporations are getting a head start before the government lays down the hammer on small growers. A lot of the recommendations by groups who are directly tied to pharmacy, alcohol and these new LP...
So this year I decided to put some plants outside to try my hand at outdoor growing. I picked a nice spot out of the way and somewhere I could get to relatively easily on a regular basis. I had access to a bunch of clones from Girl Scout Cookies and Congo strains that I had no means of growing...
some of the biggest errors I made early on was not realizing how much the plant will grow when you flip it to 12/12. Keep veg feeding for 3-4 weeks after flipping so you don't run into deficiencies. Depending on your space you may not want to grow too big unless you topping and trimming game is...
Ive used a 400w apollo gull wing light, works well but can't tell if it leaks RF. Currently I'm just growing seedling veggies for the spring garden here but have noticed more isp trucks than usual. I don't really notice any interruptions, sometimes my wifi drops on a device but I think thats...
so is it the cord that causes the interference? I have an apollo digital ballast and was thinking of getting another for growing some veggies in my house.
Depends heavily on locations but your local nurseries are good places to get some good products because they usually use it themselves for thousands of plants.
do you guys have any articles you can reference? I imagine there isn't a whole lot of research that's been done on trichomes and bud washing and the end result of doing/not doing in a chemical analysis.
Ive been slowly moving towards doing a 100% organic grow with no bottled nutes but living in an area where getting access to good stuff ingredients for soil is kind of tough. I make my own compost and haven't quite gotten to raising my own worms since I just don't have the space and temperatures...
Strange, I took to testing it with a new strain I harvested for the first time (congo) to see if I was getting any loss. Scoped out specific parts of the plant I washed and didn't have any of my trichomes wash off at all. Checked about 4 branches like this and didn't notice any loss but my tray...
i run from early morning to early evening but wouldnt be able to stand having that bright light in my actual bedroom. Your sleep is definitely affected by them, i think they use bright lights to reset people's biological circadian rhythm for sleep disorders.
