    My THC Bomb Grow Journal

Thc Bomb: week 8, time to switch to 12/12 I decided not to top as I have 19 plants between 12 inches and 18 inches in height. I felt that with my limited area I should just grow it 'sea of green' style and go for large central colas rather than top them and have them spread out. I think...

letter from the white house i received today

How about conducting a study on which causes the most harm to family and community, Marijuana or the arresting, jailing, the breaking up of homes and families, and property confiscation that is the result of prohibition? It seems to me that all that marijuana prohibition does is to supply a...

THC Bomb: To top or not??

I've got 20 thc bomb at around 8 weeks from seed and plan to flip them to flower in a week or two. My question is for whomever has grown this strain befor. Does the Thc bomb benifit from topping? Or should I just let it grow naturally? I am growing indoors with a 6 ft. height limit in Roots...

    My THC Bomb Grow Journal

Week 8 - THC Bomb Update. I still can not put them into flower as my flower room is still not ready, and won't be for another week or two. I am very happy with how healthy and happy they look. I gave them another Neem oil treatment this morning just to be on the safe side regarding spider...

THC Bomb - update: I appreciate all the input from those that have grown this strain befor. That is the primary reason that I started this Journal in the first place. I could find very little info with an internet search. All advise gladely accepted. Saw signs of spider mites this morning...

    My THC Bomb Grow Journal

Thc Bomb Update: Oct 20th, 2011- Transplanted all to 5 gal pots, using Roots Organic 707 Potting soil + mycorzine (spelling?) I lost one baby, my own fault, all the rest are doing fine. One thing I noticed about this strain is how long it takes to show its sex. Some plants are at node 7 befor...

Confused on trimming leaves around buds?

My rule of thumb is simple: if it has frosting it stays otherwise it gets trimmed off. How you trim is dependent upon the strain and other factors. Tight nugs get a different trim than airy buds, strains with a lot of frosting on the leaves get a different trim than those with hardly any...

Can't quite get it all the way dry..

what I do when I want to dry a smaller amount of bud is to use a cardboard box. The cardboard acts like a desiccant and helps draw the moister out of the plant. That is what I use when I discover that I jarred my plants too early and they still have moisture. Spread your buds out evenly on a...

Dreaded Problem: Mold Help for Everyone

I had the same problem this year, more so than last year for some reason. The only cure for 'bud rot' is to surgically remove ALL traces from your plant and destroy the clippings. Prevention is a different story. I use two different methods. For prevention I use Neem oil once a week at double...

do i trim off every single little leave from my buds?

My rule of thumb is simple. If a leaf is covered with trichs, it stays. Otherwise anything not covered with frosting goes. Some strains have very little on the leaves, so I trim them CLOSE. Other strains have leaves that are absolutely covered with frosting and those I leave on the bud. Its not...

Growers remorse for this virgin NorCal grower

As an ex president once said " I feel your pain ". I've had so much stress this last month that its a wonder my wife hasn't left me and that my dogs still love me! All you can do is, do your best to do your best. Keep fans running in your drying area. That is by far the best preventative for...

    Best trim scissors???

I don't know the brand, but Home Depot has spring loaded scissors for $9.95. I bought a pair last year and I love it. I'm going to get a pair for my wife and brother the next time I am down there.

Three 400w'ers on one standard 110v 15amp circut?

3 400 amp = 1200 amps. you have a 15 amp line. This MAXES this line out. Do not use it for anything else. Fans, pumps, etc all must be on a separate circuit. The rule is 85% of circuit amp rating to be on the safe side.

Plants dead by end of flower! What gives!? [PICS] help!

I think that if it is the aforementioned fungus, you can check by cutting into a stem or two and see if you have black, grey , or dead areas in the stem. That's what I noticed on mine anyways. It gets inside the plant and works outward.

Plants dead by end of flower! What gives!? [PICS] help!

I have seen plants like this before. I have one outdoors that is doing this right now. From all of my reading and reasurch I have come to the conclusion that it is a fungus that gets inside the plant ( as opposed to powder mildew which shows up on the leaves). I had 4 plants indoors do this...

Building a rain shelter (Hey 5150)

I built a rain cover out of 3/4 in. pvc pipe and covered that with 6 mill plastic. I too ran into the problem of how to attach the plastic to the pvc pipe. Since the plastic rips easily, and once ripped, keeps on ripping, I did not want to poke holes in it. My solution was to take a couple...

    My THC Bomb Grow Journal

Update on THC Bomb indoor grow - day 24: Watered today, checked the root growth out. They are looking pretty good so far. No real issues to be concerned about. The Neem oil treatment seems to have done what it is supposed to do. My big worry is Powder Mildew as I have had that problem...

Fighting spider mites in late flower

From what I understand, Neem Oil is great as a preventative measure, but it doesn't do much good for an infestation. I did use neem oil last about 2 weeks ago. Was afraid of using it this close to harvest
