9 pH is a little high. tap water typically is a pH 7. pH does drop over time especially in a recirculating setup, use pH up to get pH 5.5 or 6.3 {watever you use} every few hours and it will even out the pH and should stay consistent

Yeah check out flora nova grow/bloom. Its a 1- part nute, highly concentrated which is key for larger reservoirs {if you want to save $$..} also doesnt leave any insoluble organic matter like fox farms does{they can clog emitters}

nice grow man! I also recently did a cfl grow w/ moisture control soil you should try using the t8-daylight spectrum for first stage(veg) of growth. then at flowering throw in soft white cfls. you can find all that at lowe's

maybe because the nutes your using are designed for hydroponic application which is why it performs'better when diluted

that or you could just use white vinegar and pump that through the system for a couple hours. also you can take the res/buckets and hand clean it with dishwashing soap

Since its a top drip bucket system the rez should always be lower than the buckets otherwise the return line won't work correctly
