The PG 180 will cover about a 1.5 x 2.5 foot space. The PG 400 maybe 2 x 2.5 foot space. I have both and I do sog. Maybe 2 PG 400s will cover a 3 x 3 foot area. This is with the light about 12 inches above the plants. Just my opinion.
