I guess they may be but I don't know. I also don't have a computer hooked up to the net so I don't get to play with the fancy spreadsheets and calculators to find out myself.
A hortilux bulb is ~145lm/w, I'm running 1212s a 25w which from what I have read is about 160lm/w but go down in...
Interesting new chip, if I was looking for that wattage and efficiency I think that would be the one to get.
Now I am still learning all this stuff and correct me if I'm wrong but it seems the Citis still win in efficiency in the low watt 50< range?
I can see why you went with those, they certainly are a bit more flexible, though maybe a bit much for the ultra low watt guys.
It still fits my path for upgrading from 1212s to a better cob when the prices eventually drop so they will still work for me.
I got it rewired and all is working well. It really is amazing how bright only 100 watts can be.
On last question for now. How efficient is this setup? How many lumens/watt is it putting out. I tried doing the calculator but I only have a phone to work with and it just didn't work for me.
Thank you.
Hopefully when people search this particular driver this thread comes up. I did a lot of searching and couldn't get a definitive answer. I know it was answered in this thread but I already have days into searching out the best lights.
Maybe you could clarify this on your website...
I need a little help. I made an order from cobkits.com and can't get my stuff working. Here is what I have.
4 bjb holders for clu048
4 citizen clu048-1212
4 passive pinfin heatsinks
1 meanwell hlg-120h-48a driver
I went and built a pretty kick butt frame for these out of electrical conduit...
