I'd like to use some cree bulbs for my veg tent and my mother tent since they obviously work great. Couple questions though, would just the 5000k be good or should I throw in a couple 2700k's too? Also, how far apart should the bulbs be for good coverage and intensity? (remember, this is only...
I've given clones up to 500-600 and got slight tip burn. I try to start them around 200-300 but it is also strain dependent. Some burn easy, some can take a lot.
Change the res to get as many out as you can and then try the azamax, should get rid of them. Just keep a close eye on it to see if you need another treatment
4 600's would fit perfect and give you a great even light spread. You could even just get splitters to run 2 600's off each 1k (but you'd need more hoods)
H2O2 will kill the bennies in the aquashield if you put them both in at once, but you could give it shot of H2O2 and wait a couple days for it to dissipate and then use the aquashield.
You could also put them in a paper bag to slow the drying down and even out the moisture between the big and small nugs. I often have to take them back out of the jar because I put them in a little too early, never had any problems.
Decide how big your scrog screen is gunna be, then determine how you want the plants to be placed under the screen (use empty pots inside a taped square on the floor if you want a good visual). Once you know how you want your plants spaced, simply measure and see what size tray you need. Easy peasy.
That means it "can" pull 700 grams per square meter in a s.o.g. growwith a really really dialed in environment(and probably co2). Doesn't mean it will.
If your getting some light to the lower branches try leaving them and giving the plant an extra week to make sure the lower stuff fully develops. I do that and some strains give great nugs on the bottom, some strains give larf. The only way you'll know for sure is to experiment with it and see...
Not sure what he uses but it sounds like the stuff I've seen at home depot and lowes. Can't remember what it's called exactly but I think it's in the insulation section. I think it's used to insulate your hot water heater (among other things)
I think your talking about something like a flip box. Only instead of just flipping from one set of lights to another, your flipping from one outlet to another. Look up some tutorials (if your handy with wiring, if not then definitely hire it out) and see if you could make one to switch between...
It should only take a few days for the roots to grow down to the flood level so you shouldn't have to hand water them anymore. Just keep an eye on them when you stop and if they get droopy give them another hand water.
Also, your ph is a little low, get it up around 5.8
I used ecoplus for a while and was constantly changing pumps because of failure. Others have told me they've never had issues with them but I've tossed close to a dozen bad pumps before I switched to something reliable. They did work great for rdwc with no issues (they where constantly running)...
