I have a few de but mostly only single ended . I don't use glass currently and I do oversize my air conditioners. Did you clean up the bottoms enough? Did you have a xl reflector ? What is normal weight for you under 4x4?
I don't notice any difference in the quality from the nugs at the end of...
You know for sure? Your thinking narrow minded. 1k watts covers 5x5 or more easily if you want it to. The answer to your question is... As much light as you want to use. how much of that is canopy vs area of dehus , walkways , nutrient station, res area .. If your using 14x16 of straight canopy...
They flicker on start up, they don't look as crisp as a nanolux or a lumatek to eye . I haven't broke one but if I could have different ballasts I would. All personal preference I guess
I hear the cmh produce great quality .. But dudes hitting 2.5 per light with gavita 600/750de . I don't see a 315wcmh getting close to that yield per fixture
Stay away from de with 7 foot ceiling . Maybe 600/750'gavita. I had good luck with those under 8 feet ceiling . I prefer lumatek and nanolux ballasts . Quantum is dogshit I have a bunch of them I'm slowly trying to swap out
My electrician is saying that we can use the regular Helios controller and the VoLts doesn't matter . Something about running a 240 breaker and splitting it up on legs . And he also said most digital ballasts should work fine on 208v with no loss in juice . Is he wrong?
I called Titan controls and the dude says they don't make a Helios controller for 3 phase . They make some big ass do it yourself panel thing for 3grand but that's the closest to what I'm looking for. He said that people take them apart and make them work but you could build a controller for...
ok so still use the 240 plug.. But the ballast should automatically know it's on 208 and be running at full juice ? And I can also use these ballasts at 120 and 240 i read so it shouldn't be any different with equipment besides air conditioners, you are right .
Im going to bring this up today. I think my best and cheapest bet is to run on 120v and have them break it up between legs. I can split the lights up onto two different lighting controllers and put one to each leg. Acs and dehus on the third leg . And for the air conditioners I will make sure to...
Ok I will have them do it today. Do you know ballasts that will run properly? I'm reading that some will work with 240 plugs but might not be at full output because it's only 208v?
