LED strip Lords. I need your guidance.

Nice man, hope it all worked out ok for you. Looking back, I wish I would have grabbed the 3k 90cri 2 footers too, but I am sure I will be happy with the 4000k that I got. I am hoping it will be pretty versatile for whatever application I end up using it for. I put my strip build on hold for...

what do u guys think of this 4000k 95cri board

https://www.rollitup.org/t/buddies-side-light-and-under-canopy-leds.1009726/ INnpost #8 you can see the spectrum charts for the buddies strings. I could be way off and it looks like the blue peaks on the 4k white's is a bit different so please take what i say with a grain of salt.

what do u guys think of this 4000k 95cri board

Those spectrums look a lot like tekniks buddies, the 4k and PC red with 450 added. Just my thoughts, but I have no idea or facts, just thought they looked similar. Cool boards though for sure.

All COB Users - Lettuce Grow Challenge!!

I wish I could be a better source of info for organics for you, but I'm about as inexperienced with it as I am led lights hah. I think it is a nitrogen fixing plant though, which I haven't really looked into that much, but I think that means it can take nitrogen from the air and somehow feed...

All COB Users - Lettuce Grow Challenge!!

Yea it's a medley of shit in there, but thank you. Next go round I'll get the 2 gallon pots back out and go 1-2 per pot and just focus on the greens, minimal cover crop too. I'll use the cover crops as a mulch or feed the worms or make a tea out of them for the vegging plants. It's all in good...

Aussie High Lights – we're official

My two plants vegging under the highlights at a little over two weeks since breaking the soil I think. Transplanted last night and the plants seem to be doing great. Right now I'm at 100 watts from the wall and like 30inches from the tops.

All COB Users - Lettuce Grow Challenge!!

Nice looking lettuce guys. Hope I can catch up and enjoy some of a harvest soon enough. Here's my update though at a little more than three weeks from sprout. Clover and fenugreek are a bit thick, but I'll get in there and cut some back soon. Also not sure what to do about these random melon...

Using a poly stock tank for worm bin?

I myself am going to have to look into some chicken feed. I have used steel cut oats a lot lately in between the regular feedings of kitchen scraps, but feed is for sure cheaper and probably more beneficial in the long run. I did make my first batch of bokashi bran and it seems to be a winner...

    Buddies, side-light and under-canopy LEDs

That looks awesome man, got me thinking about maybe trying to throw a string in each of my totes that I let my soil recycle in. It seems like it could be really useful to help keep the soil more active by growing a cover crop while things are breaking down a bit. Might be a project for tomorrow...

LED strip Lords. I need your guidance.

I can't speak on the quality or authenticity of the strips I just purchased, but should have them in hand on tuesday or wednesday of next week. I will throw some pictures up and hopefully you or others can validate them. To be honest, when I saw the price I assumed I was reading something...

LED strip Lords. I need your guidance.

Dang, well hopefully they drop back down soon and some more people can get a discounted price too if needed. Any idea on what current these would be able to be driven at without needing much more than some angle/flat bar aluminum? Initial thought being run 4 of them at around 25 watts each via...

LED strip Lords. I need your guidance.

So not trying to start a crazy buying trend, but I bought 8 of these a few hours ago at $7.70 a piece. Had to pay an import fee of 13 dollars and with tax total came to like $80 for 8 strips. Price is back up at $23 per strip again now, just a heads up for if anyone is in the market for some 4k...

    Getting started with Compost tea....

I feel like I've read mixed feelings on using the leachate or not. I always just dump my leachate on my compost pile outside when it builds up in the bin. So you would advise to use it? I guess a one time wouldn't hurt to try out. At what rate per gallon of water do you use it at?

What is the point of adding amendments to a compost tea?

I bought some insect frass from them a little while back and got some free sample of their compost tea mix. I haven't used the tea yet since I can't really set my brewer up, but it's nice to see a happy customer using it. I love the frass though and am getting ready to flip some plants to flower...

LED strip Lords. I need your guidance.

I was just looking at arrow and found these 4000k double rows for under $8. They are the 2 footers though, so again I probably mislead you, but figured I'd put it out there. Seems like a really cheap price and I am thinking about grabbing some, but I never really looked into the f series strips...

    LED for single autoflower

I was looking around for some of the f-series gen3 and came accross these on arrow at a real nice price. https://www.arrow.com/en/products/si-b8t521560ww/samsung-electronics I know they are 4000k, butam I reading this correctly that it's $8 for the double row strips correct? If so that seems a...

Organic no till, probiotic, knf, jadam, vermicomposting, soil mixes, sips etc... Q & A

Really enjoyed your guy's conversation yesterday, lots of good stuff to mull over. I agree with the rice hulls adding a weird texture to the soil when initially mixed in, but I personally like them a lot. I like that they break fully down into the soil after some time, but not too fast. I got...

Using a poly stock tank for worm bin?

Haha nice, I can only dream of an operation that big. I hope you find that right balance of everything. Worst case scenario it seems like you could always stop feeding the bin/bins a month or so before you need to harvest and just have a slightly less concentrated end product of castings, but...

Using a poly stock tank for worm bin?

Nice man, glad you didn't give up on the idea. Once it's all set up and you figure it out a bit it's super low maintenance and fresh ewc is a strong base for starting your organic soils. Again though i don't have near what you are setting up so take what I a am about say with a grain of salt...

    Mohican's 2020 Season

Man, every time I browse through your threads I feel motivated to go work in the yard and I don't even have a yard of my own to work in... It's really cool seeing everything you have going on, so thank you for that. I wish you all the best sir and stay well. One question while I'm at it and...
