    Need help... new grower

I find this whole thing difficult to follow........the posts are vague at best. Why would you add epsom salt if you're already adding a calmag supplement? The only reasons you would get root rot is lack of oxygen to the roots or the temp in the reservoir is too high.

I've used a chromium crusher for over 20 years and it still grinds perfectly.

    Shrinking seeds.

They have no shelf life.......you can either freeze them or let them dry out and re-hydrate.......I've had some for years.

    Shrinking seeds.

I have nearly 100% germination rate with rapid rooters. I can't remember one that didn't sprout, and I've never had a damping off problem.

    Problem in coco coir

I always feed/water with nutrients........never, ever plain water. I start in solo cups and start feeding daily to run off around 3 days from sprout. I transplant to 2 gallon pots after 2 weeks and start feeding twice a day.

    Problem in coco coir

Not sure why growing in coco is being made so complicated? I just feed one nutrient from start to finish daily to run off with tap water, a pH around 6.0, and an EC around 1.0 and I never have a discolored leaf all the way to harvest. No supplements.

    Problem in coco coir

That's a problem........coco should be fed at least once a day to substantial run off. It should always be fully saturated........you don't wait for the plants to drink the water. Also, even though you didn't mention it...........never give plain water.

First SCROG grow week 5 after flip any tips??

That wasn't mine.......I copied it from growweedeasy.com. I've done a scrog only once........to much of a pain in the ass, plus you can't move the plants around. Lst and super cropping works just as well.

First SCROG grow week 5 after flip any tips??

A scrog net is pulled tight with 2" - 3" openings. The net is placed 8 to 12 inches above the top of the pots before the plant even reaches that height. As the plants grow through the holes you pull them back through and move them to the next hole. You keep doing this so the plant is trained...

First SCROG grow week 5 after flip any tips??

    That's not a scrog.......it's a trellis net. The plants look healthy.......good luck.

    is this bud rot?

The sugar leaves would turn yellow overnight and you could easily pull them out if it was bud rot........so no.

Always more to learn. Any help on this one this time gentlemen ?

pH the solution after the calmag is added. I would use a pretty strong calmag solution........can't tell you how much per liter. You're welcome.

Always more to learn. Any help on this one this time gentlemen ?

I would thoroughly flush with a calmag solution and start feeding regularly every day to run off at least once.......twice would be better.

Always more to learn. Any help on this one this time gentlemen ?

It's not a debatable topic.........never, ever use plain water in coco.........it messes up the cation exchange capacity by stripping calcium and magnesium. You even said it got worse after the flush........and you want to do another?

Always more to learn. Any help on this one this time gentlemen ?

You didn't answer my question about flushing with plain water. If you're feeding daily to substantial run off you shouldn't ever have to flush. 25 ltr pots is way over the top for coco........I use 9 ltr pots and can grow trees.
