    Y'all got me feeling dumb

Heard about it being done, but dont know how well it will work i.e. will you get enough airflow through it? 100 bucks for a fan and filter isnt too bad, but thats certainly a way you could go.

    Y'all got me feeling dumb

My first grow was in a 2' by 2.5' washer/dryer closet. I vented my light out the exhaust vent and it still got very hot. My biggest wish for that grow is that I would have had a chance to have LED. If you dont care to carbon filter you can literally just hang the three lights and the CO2 bag and...

    Y'all got me feeling dumb

2-4 Oz is easy peasy with those lights. Hell, 6 is doable for a noob. Trust me, you just really dont want extra heat in your house. I had a small closet grow with 400watts and it took a major toll on the a/c in my apartment. and that was with an air cooled lamp. You need the CO2 so there is no...

    Y'all got me feeling dumb

Another thing you need to consider is any light leaks your closet may have. You could also have very good success growing autoflowers, since you wont have a veg area. You could fit 8 autoflowers in 3 or 5 gallon pots in that area. Thats a good way to get 8-12 ounces every two months. With LED...

    Y'all got me feeling dumb

Dude, if you can afford the LED, go LED. The heat with a 600 or 1000 will be an issue. Even this will really affect your air conditioner. it will be 80 degrees around that closet, AT BEST, with a 600. Good luck with a 1000w light. You dont want a sloppy looking grow area. you have a decent...

    Electrical questions

Yeah and I happen to hire a regular, on-the-fence about even helping me, not so knowledgable about pot electrician that I found on Google here in Colorado. Probably paid the same if not more too for the work.

    Growroom Electricity Question

Hello RIU! FInally getting growing in the fantastic, weed-legal state of Colorado! I am super excited to be here and really can not wait to hit the ground running. I will be starting small (you'll see that my definition of small might be a little different than yours, but moving on...) due to...

Does anyone use an Under Current system?

Thanks. That sounds like a lot of Under Current. I'm not too worried about it because I only have 1 epicenter running 6-13 gallon buckets. Also running their nute line so it should work perfectly. I've heard that the Current Culture nutes are really pretty good. Well I think they're faaabulouuus!

Does anyone use an Under Current system?

Indeed. Current Culture is a company out in Fresno, CA that makes these along with a nutrient line called Cultured Solutions. What exactly is the Under Current? From their website: " The Under Current® system is the world’s only recirculating water culture hydroponic system to feature our...

Does anyone use an Under Current system?

Finally moving to a legal state. Got a really cool place with a perfect spot to grow. Getting a 6 plant XXL13 Under Current system for bloom. Running 8x600w HPS in a 16x8 tent w/ mini split, dehumidifier, co2, etc. I'm wondering what kind of yields these things typically get or what kind of...
