Would you change a 315 CMH for quantum strips?

They look like a copy of the Samsung double row strips. No way to know what diode they are using. Price is decent, accounting for the exchange rate thats close to a dollar per watt. I sell them a bit less than that but I don't use the HLG drivers either. You could probably make one for about...

    Platinum LED

It will cover about 1.5 ft square from what I saw in their own video. For almost $400. OTOH, for $125 my Samsung Strip light at 150 watts will blanket an entire 2x2 area with over 900 uMol's average PPFD. Platinum is an overpriced rip-off. No doubt. 180W with 6 Samsung strips will blanket a 2x3...

Would you change a 315 CMH for quantum strips?

CMH is 1.95 uMols/J efficient. Thats bare bulb efficiency. You lose at least 10% of that to reflector losses. Samsung strips are easily 2.5 uMol's/J, depending on how hard or soft you push them. So, no, they are not even close. They are not much more efficient than 600W HPS.

have anyone ever use Smart co2 here guys?????

Is your room sealed? Is your temp and humidity under control, and kept in the proper VPD range? Are you lights able to deliver greater than 1000 uMol's (and up to 1500) across the canopy? Are you plants getting all the proper nutes in the proper proportions to prevent lockouts and deficiencies...

Making the switch hps to qb

600W HPS puts out about 1100 uMol/s at the bulb. Reflector losses eat up about 20% of that, leaving about 900 uMols for the plants. 340 Watts of Quantum boards is going to give you very close to that - about 820 uMol's.

    Best led for 2x2,5?

Honestly I'd be surprised if you can do 75% power without over stressing them. I'd be looking to move to a 4x4.

    Best led for 2x2,5?

Thats WAY more light than a 3x3 needs. 260W kit would be a better fit, IMO.

    Platinum LED

OK, you want some science.... Lenses. Lets start here. Lenses absorb and reflect a portion of the light that shines through them. The best lenses are Fluorite Glass with anti-reflective coatings or "multicoated". This is the kind of glass used in telescopes costing thousands of dollars. They...

Help With Strip Spacing for 800 ppfd

The "hot spot" you might see with strips is nothing like what is typically seen with a "regular" panel type fixture. I would not be concerned with it.

Lots of hydro users use it to keep the rez sterile. Won't hurt a thing.

Anyone use Mars hydro pro II?

God, what a horrible footprint @24". So bright in the center you would have to keep it 4 feet from the canopy. I guess thats OK if you have 9 foot tall tents. No thanks.

    1500W LED DIY (Flood and Drain)(problemoz wif plantz)(need tips)(pics)

If you are seeing what looks like Root Rot, I would sterilize the rez with 1 tablespoon of bleach per gallon. It sounds to me like the flower setup has a pythium contamination in it somewhere, and its attacking the roots as soon as they go in. Are you using any beneficial microbes like...
