Afaik: 1000 w bulb is usually a little more efficient than a 600w. But both suffer in efficiency if you run it at a lower wattage than spec, and this would also cause the spectrum to change somewhat.

Thats @160w per board and including driver losses. I wouldnt run a qb that hard really. Sweet spot for a cheap board would be 60-80w.

Basicly 2x 3way wagos, one connects to + driver and 2 separate wires to + on boards, and same thing for the negatives. No possibility with that driver, it doesnt have enough voltage. What i said was to avoid daisy chaining the boards.

The fotops when run at full power start getting a bit of a hotspot in the middle, this increases as with higher hanging height. 140-200w seems to have been what worked best for us, with around 8-12" hanging height. Barlights work really well, only that raising and lowering is a bit hard in tents.
