Yes it definitely takes a few weeks to kick in. I use it from when I transplant clones in peat pucks. And every time I pot up

I use it too. Transplanting from 10l pots to 25l pots I found 17g of it a bit strong so I reduced to ~ 14g. I put about 2/3rds ~ 9g in base of hole, drop plant in half fill with soil and sprinkle the other 1\3 in around plant and fill the pot up.

As long as your plants look good it doesn't matter :D Everyone's grow conditions are different. I use roughly the same amount as you, maybe up to 1.3 ec mid flowering. Ive read Roots Boost granules also has slow release NPK but I can't find where I read that at the moment lol

I just checked. My tap water is 0.3 ec. I added ~ 2.2ml Tomatorite to 1 litre of water. It reads 1.0 ec. Minus 0.3 ec = 0.7 ec

When you say half strength what EC or ppm is that?

I'd be incandescent with rage at the disappointment of trying to grow with them....

Got a link to these shop bought leds you are talking about? 270 watts of good leds in a 2 x 2 is far too much light. Are you talking about screw in bulbs?
