    Good Morning/Weather Report Suite

Good afternoon. At 1255, it's sunny, 86F with 49% humidity. Forecast high of 88F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 67F tonight. Weather Underground says our low was 71F, but at the camp this morning I saw 69.8F on my little thermometer. It sure felt fine. We got almost two inches of...

    Good Morning/Weather Report Suite

With Monday being a holiday, I don't have anything scheduled at work until late in next week. I'll most likely come in one night and water the lobby plants. See you guys then. Hope all of you have a good one. PS. I have several nights in the 60's on my 10 day forecast. We will see if they are...

Bushcrafting, the weed addition: Bugout patch

I have dog and chicken duty for the BIL this weekend. There are fewer of these. . . . . . . . .and these. And more of these.

Bushcrafting, the weed addition: Bugout patch

Also pulled this little wrapped up chunk from the Slo2 in the BP patch.

Bushcrafting, the weed addition: Bugout patch

I had to pull a few buds from the BST2 in the FP patch. Really bad bunch of worms. Did pick off all I could find, then sprayed with Neem. Look how far along the seeds are. I may have to pull early once the seeds are mature.

Late planting with the bi polar express

Each patch had a little different starting time, as they were different ages. But for plants in the same patch, they showed at about the same time. That said, I only get to a patch once a week on average, so it could have been a day or two early and I wouldn't have known it.

    How Does Your Garden Grow??????

That is my garden cat crew, OJ, Spook and Chance. I took most of August off from the garden and they were not happy about that.

    Bict 16/17. Straya m8 2.0

That plant looks like it's in lock-down, lol. If I had done something like that, the deer wouldn't have fucked me up quite so bad. She is looking good. Thrift is always a virtue.

Late planting with the bi polar express

My BST2 male was 10 feet tall and 8 feet wide. The CP1 males were more the prototypical male. More than 10 feet tall, but pretty narrow. On the plus side, I have lots and lots of pollen now.

    How Does Your Garden Grow??????

The deer found their way into the garden. They trimmed the okra back pretty good. I leave a small gate open, so don't know if they came in that way, or jumped the fence.

    Another Oregon Grow

Mine was from a close encounter with a nest of red wasp while bushhogging. This was me for a second or two. I did great until I hit the ground. Then the 23 wasp stings were pushed way back in my mind by the back pain. Luckily the tractor I left behind hit a tree and didn't go into the river.

Late planting with the bi polar express

Most of my biggest plants were males. My BIL, {who supplied me with seeds last year} said he wants some pollen from the tallest one I have. He grows in tall trees, and the plants do better when they can reach up there and touch the sun.

    Oregon Rec. Grow

I have heard you can spray with a milk or lemon juice mix. Not sure how much it needs to be diluted. Maybe @Vnsmkr knows the recipe.

    Guerrilla 2016

My Sidetracked: strain started to flower when the days got down to 13 hours 5 minutes, or there about. The Bag Seed Testers were two to three week earlier. So as long as I chop by end of March, I should be golden. You can see what your length of day for any month with this link. {I even got the...

Dying from the tips down. Need advice.

Still looking like it's dying, but it's doing it slow. I planned to hit it with CP1 {#2BP} pollen yesterday, but got rained out. I think it will make seeds before it dies. Well, I hope it will anyway. Didn't give it any food or water. Will start back soon with mild nutes on the good side...

Bud's Dying In It's Prime? Harvest time?

I had to clip a few worm eaten buds from one of my Bag Seed Tester plants yesterday. Sucks to be so close, then have problems.

    Guerrilla 2016

I'm going to try a Winter and a Spring crop I think. Never done it before. I'm sure I will do several things wrong, but the bugs shouldn't be as bad. Mine will be pretty small going out in the winter crop. Less likely to get frost on it.{?} Might try for a little bigger in the spring crop.
