This plant is on day 19 of 12/12. I have to water every other day. I have been using one tsp. per gallon of maxiBloom every watering, and a tsp. of kelp me kelp you. Plant looks great to me, but I’m wondering if I should give it straight water occasionally, or if feeding it every time is ok...

No, they’re the most expensive route if you get the real ones like I mentioned, but I guess the results are amazing. I’d love to try one, but my wife told me where to go on spending that much for a light. I’m using a CMH 315 right now, which does ok I guess.

I’m not a pro at led lighting either, but I’ve been looking in to it also, and my understanding is if you want real led lighting you need to look at lights like HLG and Gavita as two examples of quality lights, and they ain’t cheap, but they’re the real deal. Blurples are out.

I agree a swamp cooler may help a bunch. It will likely raise the humidity a little, but….

I would let that meter get closer to the dry side before watering if you continue to use it, but what Dank said above is good advice.

I’m going with Dank. I think they’re over watered. I bought one of those cheap moisture meters off eBay, and I stick it in the dirt to measure the moisture. I bet if you had one, you’d find they are wetter than you think. And just as a reference, I also have a GDP going, and I haven’t found the...

I thought the CMH was know for light penetration. An LED will out penetrate the CMH?

Ugh, that’s not encouraging, although it looks pretty good right now. I’m trying the maxigro, and maxiBloom for the first time with very light feedings. So far I like it.

How did your ILGM GDP turn out? I’ve currently got one going I just flipped 12/12 last Monday.

Look nice and healthy. Not sure how much head space you have, but they’ll get tall when you flip them.

I have wondered the same thing, and I have read opinions both ways. My water is around 8 too, so I decided as easy is it is to do, I’d just keep doing it. I use citric acid. A little less than 1/4 tsp per gallon drops it to around 6.5.
