I have a question about that, being in the same situation, how does a flowering plant react to having to much nitrogen at this stage of flowering. Fluffy buds?

Thank you. I’ll stick with the 12/12 for a couple weeks and see what happens. I’d be ok with it taking a couple extra weeks to finish. I just retired and have all the time in the world :)

I don’t need the space, it’s the only one I have going, I’m just at a loss as to what to do with it. I thought maybe someone would have similar past experience.

There may have been light leaks, but not anymore. So what should I expect if they’re going to continue to veg? Should I shut the light off for 36 hours or so? Put it outside and let it do whatever it does?

I guess I’ll ride it out a while. Bummer. This plant started out looking great until just this last week. Maybe between raising the light, flushing, stop feeding it, and giving an extra 1/2 hour of dark it will improve in a couple of weeks.

No optical illusion. Damn, I’ve flowered in that closet before, but there was definitely some light coming through. And come to think of it my last plant foxtailed too, but it was mostly sativa. This one is pure indica. I’ve got a way to block the light, but I’m hoping the damage isn’t already done.

The more I look at it, I think you may be right. I went in to the closet and shut the door. The closet door is definitely not light tight. I devised a way to cover the cracks. How long do you think it will take to recover?

I don’t know how they could have re vegged. They haven’t received any unexpected light.

Thanks, I poured a couple of gallons of ph’d water on it, and I’m not going to feed for a while, but those foxtails concern me. Not sure if they’ll fill in, or not. This strain is supposed to have dense buds, so not sure what will happen now.

I guess my light was to close, and caused my GDP plant to foxtail. I have moved the light as high as I can, about 25” (315 CMH). I also over fed with maxiBloom. This pic is from today on day 27 of 12/12. Do you think these buds will ever recover and amount to anything?

You’ll just need to play around with the height. I would start at about 18 to 20 inches and see how they react.

Does this plant look like it’s a little heavy on nitrogen? It’s day 25 of 12/12. GDP. Been feeding 7 grams of MaxiBloom every watering except today, I used only ph’d water.

I also vote for paying extra for fems.

I did the same thing as you with this granddaddy purple, so I’m hoping I get similar results. Mine is only 3 weeks into flowering, so we’ll see.

I ordered from them with no issues except I ordered with the stealth option, and it was kind of difficult to find them in the package.
