No, you don't have to let those ingredients cook. It's the raw meals (crab, neem, alfalfa, blood, ect.) that need to cook.

Hey urban zombie, The seedling is yellowing due to lack of nutrition. What medium do you have it planted into and what do you plan to use for feed/nutes?

You could add a little oyster shell flour top dressing.

I would top dress with 1/2" of worm castings but, cal/mag should also help.
