    F2 Pheno Hunt Advice

Yeah you see a lot of that tossed around loosely. Also IBL's and IX's. From what I understand, anytime you cross the same line at different filial generations (i.e. f2 x f4), you genetically end up, roughly, at the earlier filial generation of the pair (i.e. f2 x f4 = f2). The resulting "f2" is...

Coastal Mary Seeds - who dis?

Someone grew their green crack out on here not long ago and raved on about it. Looked fire af to these eyes.

    Suggestions on equiptment

I don't use any of those, but a few people I know use the AC infinity tents and they are top notch quality imo. I don't have any experience with that particular light though. Bar style lights are a more evolved design over boards, and will give you more even coverage, but it's not going to make...

    Computer Thread

I like foobar, but I use it primarily for access to the old WinAmp visualizers. Foobar's interface is pretty darn basic, but it gets the job done if all you want is to listen to mp3 files on your puter.

"Circulating fans" are just normal fans you would put in your tent to keep air moving. Clip-on fans or tower fans work well for this purpose. Inline fans (or duct fans) attach to ducting. This is the exhaust fan for your tent. You can hook up a carbon filter on the intake side.

How to really know when to flush

No reason to flush soil, ever. Flushing soil turns it into rock, sand, and salt.

Is transplanting a waste of time?

Too many variables to declare one way better than the other. Genetics, environment, medium, watering/feeding habits. I never looked at it that way though. To me, it's logistics. Smaller/bigger pots are about controlling plant size.

If I were investing in a tent setup for flowering, I'd go with AC Infinity. Their controller does work very well, and the tents are great quality. IMO, better than the gorilla tent lite series. My flowering room just has an old, beefy VenTech duct fan that I can set the voltage at low/med/high...

    Suggestions on equiptment

I agree to start with the necessities like a tent, lights, inline fan, circulating fan(s). That drip irrigation system looks ok for the price. If you were to buy a quality bucket/res, pump, fittings, emitters, etc on your own you'd be pretty close in price either way. The advantage of DIY is...

Americans are more propagandised than Chinese people

The average person no matter where they're from just wants health, security, stability, food on the table, and maybe a little something leftover for fun. We all live under the umbrellas of our respective politics, governments, corporations and authorities... Please don't lump masses into your...

    Cloning Advice Requested

You're basically removing one of the side branches. I perfer to take cuts toward the top of the plant where the growth is fresher, softer, more pliable etc. But you can take cuts from the spindly lower branches too. Doesn't really matter. I do the diagonal cut thing too. Take at least 2 cuts...

    Light Leaks Question

I think it's genetic more than anything. I'm not saying you should allow light leaks, but some plants don't seem to care much, and others throw nanners if you look at them funny.

    CSI humboldt thread

Agreed. I've grown out a handful of CSI and the t1000 crosses were my favorite. The urkle by itself is a tough nut to crack. I had about 50% germ rate on the urkles, and the ones that did make it were very slow going. I ditched them at the time, so I didn't get to sample. I have a few more beans...

    Aliens....Do You Believe?

eye witness testimony is unreliable though. And i care very little about what these people making tv shows are telling us. They're trying to make a buck. Or maybe they don't really understand what they saw. But if aliens were coming here to visit regularly, there'd be empirical evidence beyond...

    Aliens....Do You Believe?

Do the exist? Probably, but I don't believe any have visited us. The big logical fallacy here is that moving lights and whatnot that defy explanation must be aliens. Not true, and logically it breaks down. Bad logic: UFO's exist, therefore they must be aliens visiting. Correct logic: UFO's...

    Fem seeds F2 which plant?

If you're crossing two females, I don't see how it would matter which one does the pollen donating since the genetic makeup of the cross will be the same either way. I'd probably go with whichever one you think will make pollen easier.
