Hlg kits are probably one of the easiest diy options. But rake a few days to research the tech and it will all fall into place.

    7Ft ceilings HELP!

630 DE Cmh | 1000w single ended a/c hps | Cob | Strips | PCB Boards All of them are options, i have the same ceiling height. I'd go for the 630 DE CHM, as I feel like it will fit your intended growing plan of hid lighting; just more efficiently and with other quality boosting effects that I'm...

    Tea vs Smoking

@Budzbuddha I'd think that a closed mason jar would build up and combust. Probably not but that would be my initial fear. Any way you'd go over a detailed step by step of your cooking process? Or are you a more 'by feel' type of guy?

DIY Led light or MH and HPS?

http://ledgardener.com/diy-led-strip-build-designs-samsung-bridgelux/ I You can definitely see a 315cmh give decent results, you could even go with a 630 adjustable cmh if your airflow and exhaust is on point. Anf you train for low height

    anyone run a 5x9 tent?

Non-pro pro-tip, you can also run them on a 220v outlet and drive less amps on your breaker.

    anyone run a 5x9 tent?

So you could do two 4x4 trays with 600 watts of led each to accomplish that pretty easily. If you want to do two 5x5 area do 800 watts led each tray. And do a potentially do 300g more a tray. ( im confident of those watt numbers on Samsung 1m561b or newer diodes. Efficacy difference is about 7%...

But honestly a better question is probably what weight are you trying to pull?

    anyone run a 5x9 tent?

Adding a grounded breaker to the panel is like $75 + wire length to run to the room. Might be an option as well, but yeah that's in another direction.

    anyone run a 5x9 tent?

Strips are probably the cheapest option. And I'd run about 1600 watts of led only in that space. You can fit for around $1 a watt. You can run 1000k hps with led supplementing the sides and get splash over. Or convert half of your tent at a time if you'd perfer. It's hard to tell you what...

    anyone run a 5x9 tent?

The hlg 550 will flower A 5x5 area, but I'm not sure that it will match as perfectly as you would want or are used to; compaired to 1000w hps in correctly sized hood. I just don't want you to go with less than what you'd expect. A 550 v2 is comparable to about 800 watts of hps lighting at 490...

    Planned (2) 2x4 perpetual

I lost all my mom in the hurricane and I'll be looking for one or two in my first couple of runs. After I do I'll likely go to sog style cycles. But I'm going to be cutting the number of plants that are going into flower down to 3. First half of veg is sexing and just getting a base scrog...

    Please help on first grow

Is the closet ceiling running to the attic? If so and there is a light fixture in the closet you can take that down and run your exhaust without cutting a hole. Replace the fixture when moving. Hope that helps.

    Planned (2) 2x4 perpetual

This will be my first indoor run, I wanted things to be fairly efficient so that my bills for both tents were under $200 monthly. (That to me included electricity/water/nutes/bulbs/genetics/filters) so while my startup cost might be a bit higher than it needs to be, it should last me; and cost...
