Humidity issue in 4x2 grow tent

Nice looking garden! I had a 4x4 tent in an attic so I fought heat and humidity too. I put the DH outside, right next to the tent and ran a short 4" flexible duct hose from the DH output to a low tent port. I only covered about half of the output grill with the hose so that some DH air goes in...

    Concrete Sealant

I just read a reply with the words 'slippery when wet', then I saw this. I need to look at some pot plants now.

    Dongkey donks

Here's the specs. Looks like strong COB lighting. Foxtailing can be caused by too much light (like others say). Can you raise the light or dim the power? Power Draw: 800w 500 PPFD Distance: 38" 800 PPFD Distance: 28"

    Is this a P deficiency?

Have you checked the ppm of your feed mix? The FF trio feed chart wants 15ml/gal for veg with a ppm of 1750-2100. Too high for my taste, I've used FF trio at half strength with decent results in the past. But, I haven't even grown in soil for a few years so take this with a grain of salt.

    Hello Everyone! New grower here!

Not a bad starting point but it would be good to get temps and rh up a bit, like others say. You can get a small humidifier to bring your rh up, at least for seedling and veg stage. If you're using an exhaust fan, a speed control may give you some temp and rh control. If you're in a cold...

    Recommendations for a weight scale?

I remember those. If I remember correctly, that spring clip will hold a baggie just fine :)

    Tent thickness matters?

Thinner material may develop pin holes and be less lightproof than thicker material.

    How Do These Look

They look pretty good to me, maybe a little hungry. Be careful not to water too much at this stage. T5 is a nice light for seedlings because you can keep it fairly close. With LED, make sure you check the recommended light height for seedlings. Probably want that light at least 24-28 inches, but...

I answered on your other thread (probably an Auto).

    Help what do i do

If it's an autoflower it will start the flowering stage on its own sometime in the first few weeks of life. If it's a photoperiod, it starts to flower after the light is flipped to 12/12. If it's an auto, 18/6 works fine for the whole life cycle.

    Ac question please!

I have a Whynter ARC-14S 14K BTU dual hose portable AC and the manufacturer says an extension cord can be used as long as it supports the maximum power consumption of the unit (around 1200 watts, 10a at 120 volts). I'm not sure what brand you have but you may want to check with the manufacturer.

    First indoor grow

That tent seems to be about a 4x4, which is a nice size for 1-4 plants. I'd stick with 2-3 plants and maybe try some topping and LST. Starting with one strain should be a little easier than multiple strains. The LED kit seems OK but I'm not really familiar with the NZ products. I did notice the...

    coco experts pls help!

Just what you need, another opinion :). Consider swapping to GH floratrio temporarily, ph 5.8-6.1, maybe 400-600 ppm. Just to make sure they're getting all the micros needed. Someone mentioned that maxigro may not have all of the micros. Just a thought and I think the trio is still fairly...

Missing something BIG with LED lights. Please help.

Agree that it looks like too much N (dark green leaves starting to curl). Are those measurements per Litre or Gallon?

    New large grow.

Exciting stuff, good luck on your project! There is tons of knowledge about large grows on RIU so read up and keep asking questions. I have zero experience with large grow ops but I'm watching and learning. You may want to consider raising your temp because weed likes a bit warmer than 68-70...

    Perlite as a crutch

I haven't even grown autos but growers on another forum I follow say it's not that transplanting is any different, it's just that the window to transplant is limited because autos may start flowering as early as three weeks from seed. The theory is that transplanting while a plant is trying to...

Would love advice/constructive criticism of room/tent odor control

When you open the tent during flowering, the smell will come out into the room but the filter on your intake should act as a scrubber and eliminate most of the odor. The other option is to use passive intake (remove the intake fan and filter and leave that intake vent open; let the exhaust pull...

    Preparing for humidity

Not sure if that will do it. Keep in mind that your plants are going to transpire, adding more moisture to the air. I tried a small, cheap DH in a 4x4 and it couldn't control RH during flowering. I have not tried that one you linked but my gut is it won't handle a 3x3 full of healthy flowering...
