    Molasses with soil…..

I only ever use it when brewing active aerated compost\fungal teas. Not very often these days, but I miss brewing up batches! You want lots of oxygen when feeding the molasses and trying to multiply the micro herd (not the plants). Otherwise AFAIK, you could be brewing up nastier anaerobic...

    Exausting outside of grow room

Not sure exactly what I would feed them, as there are just too many variables from one grow room to another, or the particular strain, etc.. I never grown autos before either, not that it even matters.. I def don't recommend multi hydro fed tiny little solo cup container grows though, lol. All...

Can the number of leaflets synchronize among different strains in the room?

I agree with mostly being environmental. Cannabis does communicate though, and has extra senses that we haven't even begun to be able to comprehend. When planted directly into the earth, the plants\roots have access to a network of bacteria that literally link everything together, and act like...

    Building A Workshop

I got like 20+ year supply left of 100mg freebase nicotine stored in my freezers.. or I would probably give it up too. I stocked up a few years ago when they were trying to ban ecig stuff online. They never really did, even though lots of the companies shutdown and made it harder to get.. You...

    f$%k ,f$%k. spider mites

I love spider mites though. Cute lil' buggers... If I died and could come back as any animal, I would probably be a spider mite, so I could suck on that sweet leaf all day. Ahh yeah!

    Building A Workshop

You might be able to temporarily disassemble a section of fence to get the prefab shed supplies in easier.. or even back a small trailer in before anyone notices..

    Building A Workshop

Yea I don't really plan on actually driving around or moving my dry van\trailers, but that would be cool to take the whole farm directly to the local markets. I was thinking about setting up a smaller mobile greenhouse to take to the farmers markets, so people could take a mini tour, or even...

What led strips to consider in 2024?

Ahhh yeah! Just gotta be mindful when mixing both copper and aluminum parts in a cooling loop. Not too big of a deal as long as you use extra anti corrosion inhibitors in the coolant.. What latest strips you think would work best with 4' lengths of 1/2 or 3/4" square tubing? Not sure...

What led strips to consider in 2024?

For a few bucks more, why not go with full square tubing instead of flatbar or c channel? Then use some cheap alumaweld brazing rods and a torch to cap the ends off so they're water tight. Then tap and drill holes on each of the ends of each bar to screw in some barbed fittings, and connect them...

    Converting DWC to RDWC

Here's is a scenario in which I would only use the female on the outside.. Or should I say.. underneath a drain pan or flood tray. You can cut away most of the male fitting with a hacksaw, and leave just a small flange, so you can get more of a flush mounted drain. They don't really make big ebb...

    Converting DWC to RDWC

Another tip: Sometimes the bucket\container wall of whatever brand you got is going up at more of an angle, instead of 90 degrees like you would want. So, after I tighten down the DIY bulkheads, I breifly hit the area around it with a heatgun (could use a hair dryer) just enough to warm it up...

    Converting DWC to RDWC

:eyesmoke: To clarify, as long as the washer or o-ring is on the outside of the container, and the pipe is glued in properly.. whether its the male or female on whichever side, there is no way I can possibly see for water to leak out. Unless you didn't torque it down tight enough and tried to...

    Converting DWC to RDWC

Putting the female fitting on the inside of the tub lets you get away with using one seal that is.. Using the female the outside is the only way it could leak past the threads like the diagram below shows, unless you use the seal on that side..

    Converting DWC to RDWC

Onlyy one seal (you could use 2, one on each side of the container, but not needed), whether it be a washer or o-ring is all that is needed with the DIY conduit fitting bulkheads. All the threads do is hold the male and female fittings together and keep the seal compressed. There is no reason to...

    Converting DWC to RDWC

That sucks man. I've never had one leak yet. I make sure my holes are drilled the perfect size to slip it in (not twist the threads of the fittings into a smaller hole like others who had leaks have done), and use silicone o-rings. I also only use carlon brand electrical PVC fittings, which...

    Exausting outside of grow room

Frigidaire is junk now, and manufactured with low quality parts like all the other cheap ones are.. Somehow I've been lucky. The last one I bought like 7-8 years ago from them has lasted, and hasn't leaked oil or thrown any codes like so many of the reviews.. The old ones used to last like...
