Yeah, nothing is wrong with the setup. I use phresh filters and fans on speed controllers. In the big tent I have a 950cfm filter on a 440 fan and at peak flower you can still smell it a little outside the house where it vents into a window well, not to mention everything I grow is pretty damn loud.

You should let the plants mature and finish before you have them tested. Just some scientific advice for ya. Did you even scope them to look for trichrome development before harvest?

It's fermenting. Something is consuming sugars and releasing a gas is why you heard the pop. Needs to dry out more imo.

Cleaning hydroton is easy as pie. Just get a bucket with a bunch of small holes in the bottom (strainer) and rinse for a few minutes. I do it all the time, only takes a few minutes to do so.

I'm not sure how many gpd it is. It's a generic 4 stage filter that takes 250 ppm standard house water to 10 ppm or less. No need for anything above that. Over time I've learned it takes 15 min to fill up 1 gal of ro water. Once a week I fill up a 30 gal container w/ ro water and add my nutes, etc.
